Am I the only one having this bug where death’s charge will not tick any damage to foes even if I’m right in front of them? When I initiate death’s charge, sometimes only the first hit and very last smash will hit the target. Everything in between while the reaper twirls the scythe will not tick any damage. Other times, I’ll only get 3 or so tickets total. This is a HUGE problem as the main DPS source of the form is gone.

This doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen a lot if there’s varying terrains. If it’s fairly flat surface, it’s fine.

Its a thing, it need fixing. I have also the stuck animation, where I don’t move but there is nothing on my path.

That’s strange, I wonder if it has to do with the systems they’ve put in place on other skills to keep them from multi-ticking against a wall (which this shouldn’t have).

You mean when people stack in the corner and use whirl attacks against the wall?
I don’t know if I understood you right, but this skill often is missing damage for me.

Basically yes, but that same effect can happen in a lot of situations even unintended. But ANet put in something so that Flesh Golem, Whirlwind/FGS, and all other similar skills can’t deal multiple hits of damage any time that they stay still. In the case of Death’s Charge this shouldn’t happen, but its possible that the same system is bugging it, since Death’s Charge can self-stop to make these situations.

Today, after more people complained I started to watch closely and it happens very often. The skill either spin and deal no damage or just hit once or twice or it spins on spot and then charge and hit only once.
Also once, when the target was close to me but moved to the side it spinned in place and at the end of the animation only turned, facing the target.

Yes, sometime it work and sometime it doesn’t. I’m more worried about the inconsistency of the effect than the damage fact. It would be good if we could have an official view on how the skill should work.

Though, most of the time it doesn’t work it feel like it’s due to land bug.

No core profession should be balanced around an optional elite specialization.
