I’ve noticed that PvE boss type mobs that are stationary do not trigger Staff Marks during combat, so what gives? Its a target and in combat, intended or I should not use staff in against dungeon bosses that don’t use feet?

Only one that I can think of that marks dont trigger on is the TA bosses. But yeah it is a bit annoying. Staff for dps is bad though.

Those mobs are objects, which are probably the worst thing in the game. Most of them are immune to bleeds, all of them are immune to crits, and they don’t trigger marks.

Well that is kind of odd, I have 2 weapon sets and the Staff is so I can keep regen and bleed up and then the other marks are also damage, mitigation and utility abilities….Sceptre+Dagger is just DPS and its not that great on its own either.

So I get carried by my guild :/

All dragons are object so they don’t trigger makrs. Any other object style mobs too… a lot of them are necro immune in more ways then just marks. Thats just anets usual “working as intended” approach. Just give it some time, they will fix tooltip to clearly state that. Ala lich form/plague form “fix”.
