Yeah, it’s just one skill. Just run away, and continue to destroy them once you’re not a Moa anymore. Necros counter mesmers hard, as we usually lack condition removal in our PvP builds.

Wait for the cooldown. Get interrupted, if you arent already dead when cd is back on. Its not like they can be insta casted like mesmer clones. Honestly its extremely bad that they counter the entire class with 1 friggin skill.
And its not like Mesmers rly get counterd by anything. Betcha you win most of your 1v1’s against necros as well even though you dont steamroll them.

In either format, a condi necro will beat the Mesmer in most instances. Power necros tend to be evenly matched. This single skill exploits a weakness in a single build of a single profession; such is life. I’m honestly surprised you’re complaining about minions and not how they can strip things like Plague or Lich Form with the same skill.
He’s talking about a MM, 1 Moa morph puts every minion utility skill on cooldown.. So if you have some survival skills, tanking gear, you can survive , else you’re doomed most of the times....
Last time spvp tourney, I was holding close as a MM, if a mesmers pops-up and you think you’re having a fair fight until he turns you into a moa... You really get angry.. Luckily I survived my blood minion’s CD so he could suck me back to full health when killing the mesmer..

Well i think stripping lich or plague is pretty balanced. Elite vs Elite. Mesmers just got the counter skill.
However in the MM case it just beats everything! All his utility, His elite, All his traits and setup.
Its simply annoying that Moa puts up to 5 skills on full CD. Is it game breaking? Not really. Does it actually change the outcome of most fights? Not that I’ve found. But its a bit stupid, and if the fight is 50/50 then you lose because they pressed one button.
As a side tip to most MM players: don’t always pre-summon your minions if you don’t need to. You should only be pre-summoning the ranged minions when moving from point to point, and right as the enemy comes up you can summon things like Shadow/Bone minions. It often tends to be better to hold bone minions (on their second run through) and Flesh Golem (generally just after the fight starts, unless you plan to initiate with Charge) for mid-fight summoning, because its insanely difficult to deal with their actives because their skills go off right as they claw their way from the ground, making it super hard to avoid. This would also help you in instances like against a Moa Mesmer, since if they don’t get all of your minions on full CD, the skill really didn’t help them much except for the few seconds of DPS.
