Hello,

I have been playing all kinds of different builds since the big patch and just thought I would share one I quite like.

I just want to say I’m not a theory crafter and I’m sure there are ways for the build to be improved- so be constructive with your feedback please.

It’s essentially a might stacking well build with good survivability and good damage output.

Positives
- Easy to reach maximum might stacks and maintain them.
- Excellent power and crit chance.
- Large life pool 31,212 and death shroud pool 24,767.
- Good life force generation.
- Excellent damage.
- Good condition management.
- 20 sec heal, 120 sec plague.
- Excellent finisher

How to Play Really basic guide.

Ideally you start at some sort of range and cycle through your staff marks and auto attack building life force. If you are in a situation that warrants it place your wells down doing obscene damage.

Switch into ds making use of your improved crit change for your wells, pepper your enemy with damaging life blasts.

when ready assuming you are at close range drop out of ds, switch to dagger and proc quickness and kill your enemy( use warhorn 4 to interrupt heal if needed)

You can then use plague for a stomp- If needed.

Trees

Spite- Is essential for the might stacking, Reapers Might and Siphoned Power. Close to Death adds 20% extra damage under 50% health.

Soul Reaping- I tried running the build without soul reaping and the life force generation is just not there without it.

Curses- This is probably where people are going to disagree and you can switch out this tree with blood magic if you prefer.

What curses brings you over blood is a quicker heal/plague and better condition management through plague sending, As well as crits causing weakness.

Sigils/Amulet/Runes

I am using the seemingly unpopular barbarians am for the power/prec/vital- I do wonder how if the build would be improved with celestial or maruders.

Sigils

I’m using sigils of strength on both weapons for the quicker might stacking- I wonder if this is something that could be changed for a better option.

I don’t see this often anymore but sigil of rage on the dagger, logically you are in dagger range hopefully when your enemy is at less then 50% health.

Once this procs it turns your dagger into a shredder.

Runes of strength for the might duration.

I too am struggling with taking Soul Reaping…problem is, Blood magic gives me the following:

1. Well CD and Prot
2. Warhorn locust lasts longer
3. Dagger movement speed
4. And of course, vampiric

As you said, the LF generation is lower without soul marks. My primary method of generation is Locust swarm with 50% greater effectiveness. Essentially the idea is simply to pop locus and AA. The cripple ensures the other guy has difficulty running away from me.

It’s a very tough choice – soul reaping vs blood magic. I was initially running without the spite tree, but them might stacks!

Power is too low in my opinion, for a power build. I would recommend at least 2400-2500 power base. You also have a high vitality/hp pool, while sacrificing crit damage. In my opinion power builds should reach near 200% crit damage so when you crit, you have a bigger pop.

Also if you are going for a Wells build, you should really take Blood Magic for reduced cd on wells. Otherwise the cd on wells are just too long for a build with Curses. You’ll find that the siphons you get from Blood Magic will be worth taking, allowing you to sacrifice your vitality for more power/crit damage.

Just some suggestions.

With might stacking you have 2825 power, If you wanted to all out dps you could go berserkers amulet( which would give 3125 power and 209% crit) but would lose a lot of survivability.

I’m not sold one the wells reduction atm, I find the curses line more useful.

Interesting…you’re using Master of Corruption with a power build. I’m running an MoC corruption condition build (curses/soul reaping/blood) that I am having a fantastic time with, but I would have never considered doing that on a power build. Kudos for creativity!
