Andele was kind enough to help me out with testing minion HP values. We didn’t do Jagged Horror but who cares.

I’ll post the method and stuff below so you can check it, but the general values we got were:

~10k HP for Utility minions (5k each on Bone Minions)
~12k HP for Blood Fiend
~13k HP for Flesh Golem

The testing was done in sPvP, using BiP with 30s Bleed Duration, 0 condition damage, and 30% boon duration to give 15s of Might. This meant each BiP did 3090 damage total. If there were any cases of the minion dying before BiP was completed, I was watching the duration so it was estimated with about 1 second error. I also got the direct damage component of BiP from the combat log and included it.

Thanks bro , I always wanted to know my army HP
But…
Didn’t you forget Bone Fiend , Shadow Fiend and Wurm ?
Did you use +50% minions HP trait before testing them ?

All 80es > MM necro is my best ,cleric
guard ,nades eng ,Trap thief \ranger ,signet\shout warrior, zerk mes\ele & shiro rev.

Utility minions = all minions on the utility bar. They had very similar HP values, I just listed Bone Minions as a special case because collectively they had ~10k, but individually less.

That was base minions, completely untraited.

So i assume they have different values for toughness then. Because some minions are definately squishier than others.

Yes, toughness values vary, did not do any specific testing on that, although that would have been smart (doh).

Wow , so when traited it will be >>
~15k HP for Utility minions
~18k HP for Blood Fiend
~19.5k HP for Flesh Golem
Not to mention their toughness

All 80es > MM necro is my best ,cleric

Yep. Minions have similar base defensive stats to player classes, its their lack of sustain/mitigation that makes it seem much less.

The Flesh Wurm can take a significant amount of beating before dying, so if it does have equivalent HP to the Bone Fiend, it must have substantially higher Toughness.

Another very important note, it might be possible that pve and wvwvw minions have different values from pvp ones, since by how much beating they can take in orr farm chain/randomly attacking abominations was: Golem>Shadow>Wurm>Blood>Bonefiend>Bone minions – no minion traits ofc.

Yea but only 1 via an elite with <50% uptime + a lesser elemental that’s not as tough and also <50% uptime

Uptime true, but the only difference between lesser and elite elementals is hitbox, 100~150 damage (and so fire and ice in the 700 ranges air and earth in the 400) and about 25% less hp value (took a cornered whirling greatsword in the QJ 3 instead of 4 spins to kill the lesser ice *the best elemental if i might add* while minions die in 2 or 3) So no elementals aint worse than minions, especially if its teamfights or dungeons in question.

Elementals are better on their own than individual minions because they have non-permanent uptime, no secondary actives, few (if any?) traiting improvement, and there are only two, so stacking isn’t an issue.

I’m fairly sure most of them are melee as well.

2 of them in each case, air being there for team support thus weak long ranged spark attack or if in melee a bit stronger sting (like like all sparks and most devourers); only that fire ele has short range thus can be mistaken for melee (he/she/it does have a weak basic ranged flame attack as all fire elementals) but is rarely used because the evade dive attack and fire explosions are on short cooldowns.
