Q:
Minion HP in WvW?
A:
It should be very noticeable. To give you something to work with:
Flesh Golem/Blood Fiend HP should be 33,000 each in WvW if you trait it. If it hasn’t been changed, it’ll be 19,000. So it should be really easy to test.
I’ll go check, thanks for the numbers to use.
In WvW, the flesh golem with not traits had around 13000HP. Looks like no increase to WvW.

Well, to me doesn’t seem like I see a difference at all so my guess is no.
That’s what I figured would happen. The all-MM zergs in WvW did not need a 70% HP buff to their HP.
So, the dev’s saying before the patch that it was going to be in WvW as well.
Then the dev’s multi talks about the work load being too big to split the rules from PvE and WvW as well as sPvP, being like ‘creating and maintaining 3 totally different games’…
Well it’s nice to know they got the time and resource’s to make a exclusion to the rule if it’s a nurf to the necro.
(No we prob don’t need big pets in WvW, there single target and were still mean vs 1, crap vs 2+, but still…)
Thanks Rennoko. I’m curious, how did you test? Just watching mobs wail on it and writing down the damage numbers? Cause damage to minions doesn’t appear in the combat log.
It’d be a difference of over 10,000 HP, so I’d imagine it wasn’t super hard to test even through fairly “imprecise” means.
Just ran a lone bone minion against a Moa in EB with Flesh of the Master. Took 8-9k damage before dying. Doesn’t look like the health buff applies there.

Using a recorder for testing makes everything easier. I had the target numbers from above, I had a flesh golem attack a Vet in WvW, and just paused everytime he took damage, entered into a calculator, and so on.
