Guild Wars 2

I am still new at this profession , and i think i wanna focus on being a Minion Master build , but still i confuse how to build it properly , can any1 help me with things that i need?
btw i already 80 with my necro and planning to buy Apothecary’s armor set , bcs i am playing healing power,toughness and condition damage , idk if it it’s good for build that i am in or build that you gonna suggest me , so feel free to tell me which one is better

also if you’re so kind , tell me what armor and weapon type (Soldier’s , Apothecary’s , Cleric’s , etc)
and i am playing staff and axe+focus

And btw i am planning to build for PvE and also PvP

I have tried Apothecary and was not happy. It is expensive, too. Carrion, Cleric’s, a mix, or others like Valkyrie with 2 offensive stats are less costly and more rewarding for me in partial tank builds. Healing is not good on Necromancer.

Edit: well of blood was nerfed so healing support is less than as bad as it was in August.

It seems like you are in PvE? Are you planning to do dungeons, open worlds, bosses, etc.? Need to know context.

On my MM healing is good cause the more healing i have the more health my minions siphon to me when they attack. For weapons I use dagger/horn, scepter/focus and I also use Apothecary for armor.

For PvE there is no point in having healing power. You should never have issues staying alive in full zerker.

Minion siphons are the best Necro has available but do not take minions to boss fights or they will be wiped. The only exception is under water where they are not bad against some bosses.

Still, I prefer minions die in putrid explosions than heal me.

Axe and dagger are for power builds where condition damage is less important while scepter makes good use of condition damage from bleeds as well as duration. Pick your weapons to leverage your traits and match both to your equipment.

Always remember that group healing from a Necromancer is bad.
