Ive been looking over these Necro forum topics and haven’t seen any Minion AI topics near the top or any on the first page with any official Anet response.

Minion AI in its current state can’t be acceptable I hope. I’ve been running Minion Master builds while leveling for the past week. There’s probably been at least 25+ times where I’ve noticed just how bad my minions will not go and attack a mob I’m getting hit by or one I’ve been attacking for 5+ seconds.

There’s also been multiple times where I’ve said to myself “If only I could record how bad this is, and post it for some Anet devs to look at”.

If anyone can link an official post or statement by Anet where they have acknowledged the problems with Minions and pet AI overall (within the last 2 weeks), I’d greatly appreciate it.

Please tell me I’m not the only one that sees how important this is on our profession.

Update: I did see the Necromancer Minions post a ways down, but still no Anet response. Can we get an official Necromancer Profession developer response on this topic please?

Shameless bump. This issue needs attention.

I’d have to look at the rules, but I thought calling out developers was frowned upon. Of course, I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t love to see some information as to the state of the necro and their plans for it.

Frumz your research has failed you. Poor AI of minions is mentioned in almost every topic as one of the most painful bugs currently affecting the necromancer.
