So I have decided I want to roll a necro see how it goes. Being a GW1 player I like the minion master build alot. I have read some stuff about the viability of it and I have some questions.

First off. Has the agony resistance been fixed?

Second. Are minions viable in higher level fractals say 28+? Because squishy ele’s get one shot there. I am guessing minions too.

In the SotG video, developers said that all pets and minions (Ranger pets, Necro minions, Engi turrets, Elementalist elementals) will share Agony Resistance of their master after the next patch.

Oh yeah forgot about that. So they would get little bit more viable in fractals though I have doubts minions will stand in lvl 28+ against mobs.

It would be interesting to see. Even if they don’t do a ton of damage, just taking a few hits for the party (some of them get up to 20k HP traited) would still help out I would imagine.
