Minions should be 5x their current size
I’d just accept not turning to find my flesh golem is spectating my fight form afar.
Size? Who cares about size; I want NUMBERS. I remember the days from GW1 when you could steamroll any enemy with 40+ minions.
There should be a Grandmaster Death Magic trait that lets you summon twice the number of minions with each minion skill.
I would be happy to just have all ranged minions or all just minons of the same type. I want my undead bombers, i want my army or ranged nukers. I want my army of undead to be a army again. Heck a cap of 8 is fine.
A cap of 8 is not fine by me. I want moar!!! :P I was so happy that we didn’t need a corpse to summon a minion, but I was VERY disappointed that you can only summon one of each.
op is right we should be able to hide under our pets when we are downed like rangers making minions 5x the size would force peopel to first cut those down before they get to us wich would make sense since every minion would be happy to trade his life for yours..
Bigger is always better and also, just re-skin the jagged horror with the skin used in GW1 (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Jagged_horror). It’s awesome and should be simple enough, right? I loved my GW1 necro, but unfortunately the minion army isn’t going to happen again (would love Anet to prove this wrong), so if they could just make the minions work (attack what I attack and only that, not the random Centaur weapon rack) and look cool, I’d be perfectly A-OK with the 5 minions (+ an occasional jagged horror) I usually run with.

Also yes i want the old Jagged horrors back, both model and by how it works.
(1 flesh golem, 3 shadow fiends, 2 bone fiends, 2 flesh wurms, 5 bone minions, 10 jagged horrors, most of them dying within 10 seconds and getting instantly replaced)
