Mobility?
offhand warhorn with spectral walk grant you permanent swiftness.
The signet grant you passive speed.
There’s a trait that grant 25% speed while using a dagger.
Reaper Shroud 5 is a leap with medium range.
There’s no other ways to have mobility.
(only the wurm if you have to reach a platform up or down to your position, and only if you can cast it there. And not always work.
I’m not sure what do you mean by “less immobile”. Personally I map with a full Berserker, D/W + GS, with 2 pets (on heal and elite), 2 wells and the power signet (I sometimes take 1-2 shouts droping 1 well and the signet). You get 25% speed from the dagger and you can always jump forward with RS2. I found the build very easy to map with, close to immortal when soloing HoT events etc.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Spring_Roll + Executioner Axe Toy. Ez life
Does the spring rolls give you swiftness on warhorn 5 kills of little bugs etc?
For E.A.T. omg I didn’t know that, I didn’t know that until just now, I don’t there is but is there a cheaper option for it from what i see 700 gem is a bit too much for me
I used to use Traveler’s runes, but Durability runes were too good to not use so I started using Signet of the Locust instead. Which I guess is fine since it’s an AoE life steal.

The worm can also be used for normal mobility (no elevation) though it doesnt give you much range due the casttime. Just cast it a max distance while wlaking and you will get some extra meters.
With that said i am still for a casttime redcution on fleshworm.
Spring rolls give swiftness when you kill enemies regardless what you skill you use to kill them. just try it it’s only 20s.
Executioner axe toy is not available at the moment. No there isn’t. Skill 2 has the potential to give you the longest dash you can get in the game.

I finished map completion on my Necro and it was fun (and fast in my opinion), I only used signet of the locust and the leap on shroud #2 (I don’t care much about permaswiftness as long as I have +25% passive speed). The stun break / condi removal on shroud activation traits (foot in the grave, shrouded removal) also help against spiders and other mobs that cc you. I used them and I was unstoppable.
I usually just use signet of the locust in PvE, it’s the best way to be able to still use whatever spec, gear, and all that you want to use at the cost of just 1 util slot.
However if you use blood magic at all, then you can achieve the same by equipping dagger with the blood magic trait that gives you 25% run speed.
Lastly if you really want swiftness, I’d go with spectral mastery and just load spectral walk. That’s near 100% uptime, you can just death’s charge during the 10 sec swiftness downtime. But this costs 1 util slot + 1 trait.
I personally avoid using the warhorn in PvE because the darn swarm tags mobs and puts you in combat. This can get annoying fast.
If you use “Your Soul Is Mine!” as your heal, you can pop reaper, do a reaper 2 (dash), drop reaper, cast “Your Soul Is Mine!” and never run out of life-force. That and the +25% move speed in Blood are how I get around since I hate having spectral walk on my toolbar outside of octovine looting. Warhorn swiftness if nice, but tagging ambient creatures when farming is sort of annoying. =(
Yea, if you’re already 80 and don’t want to use dagger, and mainly want to do map completion and explore, just use Superior Runes of the Traveler. If you’re spec’ed right and have all Berserker and/or Valkyrie gear, you can use them and still be able to solo almost everything you’re likely to come across.
Thanks for all the replies, you all gave me ideas and infos that are helpful ^.^
How can I change my runes without loosing them.
For example: I infuse traveler runes but when i do fractals i want to change it according to my power or condi build. However I dont want to rebut and infuse it all the time.
Do I need another set of armor just for rune difference, how do people manage to change these between doing pve content and map exploration/wvw gear.

Basicly yeah, you just keep another set of armour. When mapping you don’t really need good gear so you can just craft exotics and switch. Personally I carry 3 sets of gear. The one I do maps, dungeons and blob WvW (Zerk Power), the ones I do fractals and raids (Viper Condi) and small-scale WvW (a mix of Trialblazer/Carrion/Dire for some Condi or Hybrid gameplay etc). I don’t really bother with maxing speed while mapping but one could easly do stick with some speed runes when mapping and going dungeons. It’s not like dungeoneering is demanding content.
Personally I think Traveler Runes are a waste of slot. It’s just better to slot either the Locust Signet or go for the Dagger trait for the 25% speed. But if someone thinks it’s a good idea, he can. That’s what these runes are for.

I disagree it not a waste of slot. Traveler Runes are definitly one of the better runesets out there. Yeah in most builds Traveler Runes are not needed but there are builds out there that wouldnt work without them. So i think we should consider them situationally useful.

Ok, that’s fair. Tho one needs to think: On which change you will lose more. Proper runes or 1 utility skill. Power runs with a dagger anyway and condi can’t afford to lose it’s runes since they are quite important to the build.
I imagine a Power build without Blood Magic and the dagger speed trait might be fine with Travelers, but I still think that dropping, let’s say, Scholars is a super-huge DPS loss. It’s simple mathematics. Better to drop the Spite Signet than Scholar Runes. Or one of the other 2 ultility skills.

Honestly i think that a utility slot can be more valurable then the runes slot. And for traits they always come with a whole traitline meaining they are also build defining. Hnece my argument that the travelers can be useful unlike lets say runes of the reaper… one of the worst runes in game.

Ha ha, yes, unfortunately this is one of the ways AN manages to coerce you up the road into buying more bag and bank slots. If you want to have multiple gear sets for multiple characters and don’t want to have to keep destroying gear – some of which is quite valuable – you’ll eventually need more storage. Fortunately, Traveler’s Runes are fairly inexpensive now, so it won’t be a great loss if you decide to upgrade to something else after satisfying your wander-lust.

Nnno… not really. Why even mention the Reaper Runes when the only runes that Power uses are Scholars? Pretty bad example really. And yes, almost every PvE Power Reaper will use Signet of Spite. And Yes, Runes of the Scholar give MORE than the mentioned Signet, ergo, changing the Signet (utility slot) is better than changing runes.
And if we are talking Condi… Condition builds can’t really let themselves sacrifice their Runes for Traveler. Runes in Condi are much more important than in Power.

Well i wasnt talking about pve only but for builds in general. You konw outside of pve max dps is not the most important and you take the runes that complement your build the best. But of course you are right for pve since changning utility skills is easier then changing runes but that doesnt apply in spvp and in wvw only partially since there you can be amushed, which can make switching utilites tricky.
And i am also aware that in most necro builds traveler runse are not needed since you have normally other sources of movmentspeed increase (warhorn, spectral walk, signet of locust etc.) but all that doesnt make them useless, accross all professions there are builds that can make use of traveler runes unlike bad runes like reaper runes that are just useless hemce my stance on saying they are situational.

Well, I was talking about PvE since the OP asked about mapping and exploration.
And if we are talking sPvP and WvW. In sPvP you would absoluelly never, ever use Travelers over any decent runes that complement your build. And in WvW, if you run with a zerg you use Pack, not Traveler. And if you are going for roaming then the case is simmilar to sPVP. You can’t afford not to use proper runes unless you want to seriously damage your build. You could… but generally it’s a bad idea. And “other classes” don’t matter here. This is not a topic of “Are Traveler runes good or bad?”. Travelers are fine, just not here.

Well i was always talking about travelers in general and with your last sentence you are essentially saying what i always meant to say about traveler runes.
