I generally run something like this and most people run something similar. The changes people make will either be to the utilities, a few of the trait selections to the adept majors (the point allocation is almost always the same), or switching the elite for plague. Signet of Spite is incredible, spectral armor for stun break and recharging death shroud when you get focused, and I take spectral wall to deny people at breakpoints. In teamfights though switch out the wall for epidemic.
The best spec is still Posi’s. You can find it on his Twitch channel – staff & scepter/dagger with Flesh Wurm, Corrupt Boon and Spectral Walk and Plague, 30/20/0/0/20.
In team fights you’ll be the first target so this build gives you everything you need. Two stunbreakers, lots of DS regain and the most usefull – kiting abilities. Play always with Plague in team fights because it gives you this precious time while waiting for DS or Consume Conditions to recharge and also allows you to bunker on a point for a bit till help arrives or w/e… Golem for the extra stun is quite useless as it will die from the aoes very fast.
Spectral Wall is also good if you wanna chain fear but thats pretty much about it. In team fights again you better have stunbreaker than it and stability nulifies its functions.
Mainly focus on condi spammin from some high spot and chain fear those on low HP/trying to heal (chained with Corrupt Boon ofc )
Kite as much as possible, you are useless if you dead and you will be the first to be focused for sure.
On a side note. Best necro build for team fights is typical power build with wells… but due to the lame way they work in spvp is kinda meh. Eventhough we see few playing with wells in the ESL tournaments.
