My Chill is broken!
lol, considering the recent super nerf to chilling darkness, I might just dismiss this as “they don’t want you to use that trait anymore,” but I they’ve ignored all of our great suggestions so far, so I can’t imagine that they’ll suddenly start doing the right thing.

Please un-nerf Chilling Darkness.
Chill is too good against Ele’s so don’t expect anything to change for the better.
If they absolutely insist on there being an internal cooldown, at the very least make it per-target, like Lotus Poison. That would be almost reasonable.
Also, reduce it to 4 seconds, so you get more than a single activation out of Well of Darkness. And maybe reduce Well of Darkness’ recharge so it isn’t utterly awful even with Chilling Darkness and Bitter Chill.
Just a quick note here, but adding that 5 second ICD on Chilling Darkness was effectively a 96% efficacy nerf. I am pretty sure no trait, skill, or piece of gear in the game has ever been nerfed that hard.
Chilling Darkness is the new Smiter’s Boon. It’s dead Jim!
At this point the trait should probably just be replaced.

He probably only used well of darkness for it. Well of darkness can give, with 5 opponents, 25 blinds. With the old chilling darkness that would be 25 chills with the new one only 1. If you scale chills of the old trait to 100 you would get for the chills of the new one 4. Also 100-4=96…

That is correct. Plague also works out this way (up to 100 blinds, thus 100 procs pre-nerf). Now? A max of 4.
The thing is? Chilling Darkness was never used if neither of those were equipped, so those two skills are the only ones to really consider on the nerf. Necros just don’t have the blinds to make it worth the trait slot.
