Not really but I’d like to I was thinking about it for sure. That and the snowfall runes would be cool to mess around with in wvw.
I have not been playing much but I do have the snow-blind sigil on a focus to experiment with in WvW and PvE. Planning to test it in PvP, if it is available, but… have not been playing much.
My chillmancer is similar to this but I use mischief instead of hydro, which provides extra defence through blinds but costs chill uptime. Using Hydro means pretty much perma-chill with regular weapon switching.
The sigil of hyrdromancy does in fact stack with the effects of the sigil of mishief if traited for chill on blindness.
Your base chill on weapon swap goes up by 1 second.
You then get a blind on weapon swap and a greater chill overall since 1 full second is greater then 10 percent of 2.
I play mostly Wvw and use wells but the spectral skills look interesting.

Seems like good fun. I would move the 6 points from Death Magic and put them into Soul Reaping for IV (Spectral Mastery) VIII (Near to Death) and XII (Death Perception). Maybe even swap Focus Mastery in the adept Smite line.
You’ve got three spectral skills on your bar so a 20% cooldown is always great. You get an extra Spectral Armor in the master minor trait of Soul Reaping which is nice. Getting into death shroud more frequently, more life force pool and good crit chance in it to take advantage of your power from soldier amulet.
You’d cut 6 seconds of Spectral Grasp too for more chill. Might even consider swapping out Spectral Wall for Spectral Walk, as more stun breaks might be nice.
Makes me want to go try it myself. Looks like a pain to deal with in a team fight.
Keep in mind Death Magic includes boon duration. There is a trade moving from DM to SR, even if the DS benefits are significant.
