So i havent played in about a year… my wife and i thought we’d check it out again see if gw2 has gotten more interesting yet.

And apparently there is a new Axe animation for necro autoattack and it looks like absolute garbage. The animations and models of GW2 were always its strong points… so did they outsource this animation to a local high school kid? seriously… how did this get through QA? When played along with the other high quality animations, this just looks ridiculous in comparison. ugh i cant stand to even look at my character now.

They addressed an exploit (cancel casting) by changing the numbers but did not fix the animations at this time.

Considering it is for the Necromancer and for the axe, do not expect it to ever be addressed.

The solution is > “Oh hey pssst here take this other darky class instead, we give up on necro.”

It’s horrible, it looks like my necro is having a bad dream and is trying to wave away the evil pixies.

what’s worse is it completely removes the offhand, doesn’t even pop in at the end of the attack, so no howler while auto attacking, though as howler is bugged too maybe I shouldn’t care…

Farmend months for Frostfang, pure aestethic factor, now Bleeahh…
