Guild Wars 2

Pretty much the title. I’m an alt-oholic looking to roll a necro but I can’t decide between Charr and Norn. I’d choose Norn for aesthetic reasons: the tattoos and humanoid figure are nice and I’ve already started leveling him. But something about the idea of a Charr necro is appealing to me, like it “feels” better but is objectively less attractive in FashionWars2. Is Charr worth it for all the clipping issues and stuff or am I better off sticking with Norn? Which would you guys choose?

Norn. Two reasons:

1. The Charr are awful. #TheSearing #NeverForget.

2. Become the Snow Leopard. Norn racial skill. Gives you strong mobility and high stealth uptime, allowing for fantastic escapes in WvW when you’d otherwise have to eat dirt.

I’ve seen some really good Charrs, a look like dark shamans, but I don’t like the light armor on charrs

If you want clunky, silly looking character with huge shoulder and tiny head go with Norn.

All about that charr.

Usually I’d pick depending on who has the better cultural armor. And in this case, charr takes it, since they have great t1 and t3 cultural armor, through norn t1 is also amazing for necromancers. However, norn can also pull off other sets of light armor much better than a charr.

But, charr have much better lines when summoning minions, and generally deliver their shouts much better too, so I’ll say go charr.

I chose Norn, made him the tallest and skinniest build, for that massive scythe in Reaper Shroud, the Leopard form Elite for running or whatever, and the clothing looks good on him.

So my opinion, go Norn.

Norn, their females have a the best plots.

Personally I would go Norn. I prefer their racial skills, and in terms of lore they would be more accepting of a magical class than the Charr, who are culturally distrustful of magic. While there ARE Charr casters, they’re fairly rare.

but, if you insist, I would definitely say Charr. They are awesome looking necros.

I’d say norn, they have a better lore for and asthetic for the necromancer, I’ve seen some Raven themed necros and reapers that sometimes make me regret picking human…..then again we have Grenth.

Lol honestly though I’d go with charr over norn. I have 5 necros, only race I don’t have is a norn necro because I just couldn’t like light armor on them. Charr though just feel right, and my charr necro is one of my favorite guys. <3

If you know a better charr necro photo than this one , i won’t use my necro again ;D
