It says it should increase the effectivity of siphoning by 50% but my “Life Siphon” (number 2 dagger skill) heals 17 each pulse and with the trait on only heals 20. Thats NOT 50% ? is it?

Also if you have regeneration on you, and then enter death shroud, your normal health doesn´t heal. Is that intended?

It doesn’t increase the heal of Life Siphon, as far I know.
It increases the steal health effects of the Blood Magic traits, like Vampiric, Vampiric Precision, Vampiric Master and so on. The increased health you are gaining is probably because of the more Healing Power you have for picking up the trait.

Regarding regen in Death Shroud, it is intended that it doesn’t heal you.
Once time ago you were able to be healed while in Death Shroud, but now it isn’t possible anymore because, according to developers, it was too strong for Necros.

For clarity, they are looking at giving us back healing in DS now, so that could possibly come back into the game.

And it is increasing my Dagger 2 healing, as well as my Vampiric healing. So I’m not sure what you mean. It went up from 212 to 314 just changing that trait (HP remained the same).

Really hope they give us DS healing cause its one of those annoying things since release not just for us but for others trying to heal us aswell.

It’s just one of those things you hope they can balance without completely going overboard with dmg nerfs to compensate.
Makes me wish our class was more dpendant on traits like mesmer is so we could specialize more instead of everything just feeling so attached to DS and the balance issues it gives.

@OP, your healing is very low, don’t forget they cap healing to your current level…which could be the reason why you aren’t seeing a large difference.

You’re actually running into a bug I’ve known about for a while, but usually isn’t important: while bloodthirst does boost the healing of dagger 2 by 50%, it also decreases the heal-per-pulse by about 5. So in your case, 17 × 1.5 = 25.5, 25 – 5 = 20.

May I ask what your effective level is, which is causing those (low) healing values?

Regen / heals not healing a necromancer while they are in Death Shroud is currently intended. As noted by others, this may change in the future.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Its not by 5, its by the base scailing value of the skill (so lets say a skill scales by 1;1 , you will lose 100 healing by picking up bloodlust, but will get a 50% increase/additional 33% to the scailing, vampiric that used to give you 25 that gave 39~41 instead of 37 depending on zone since vampiric gets its first point of stealing at level 3), kinda the reason why you dont really notice the difference between vampiric traits/life siphon at lower levels, but you do get a massive boost at high level life siphon and Locust sigil (especially if you get a 10+ hit like on the gravelings in AC trap time). Problem is skills with dual values that still count as siphons get part of their damage turned into lifesteal so its really not accurate to measure since it not only depends on 2 scailings but your weapon hit and enemy armor and the kitten static damage weapons have like level 1 or 2 damage…

When life gives you lemon, ask if its from a anime or manga.
