Necro WvW Build Help
Life stealing via minions is actually rather poor — like 51/hit.
In addition, they will die very, very quickly in WvW.

Dark Armor is useless. We have only 3 channeled skills. It’s might be good for sPvP, but in WvW we don’t have a luxury of small scale fights.
Reaper’s Protection is bad for survivability in my opinion. 1 sec of fear won’t save you from zerg, especially only once in 90 seconds.
Blood Magic in WvW… Meh. I prefer Soul Reaping since Life Force refill is very quick in WvW. Though, my main reason is just fear people from cliffs =)
You might like this build Seems tanky. But I still prefer to fear people from cliffs. It’s kinda my reason to play WvW.

In the defense of Dark Armor, it can be useful for using dag2 and ds4 to lifeleech and run in DS
Reaper’s Protection is bad for survivability in my opinion. 1 sec of fear won’t save you from zerg, especially only once in 90 seconds.
RP is 2s with 0 condition duration. With my build, my RP is 4+ seconds and does 800-900 damage per second.
It certainly is better for smaller engagements, but is quite useful overall in WvW, as there will be times where you get charged at the front lines, or stunned/knocked down while trying to get back into a keep/tower.

But still, you can affect only 5 players with AoE. I can see why it’s nice to have in sPvP, but in WvW even if you fear 5, there are always 20 more.
As for you example, I prefer to have 3 seconds of Stability every 10 seconds with Foot in the Grave trait. Or just use plague form, 20 seconds of stability and zerg having problems targeting or even see me.

Well, one would hope you don’t get yourself into a situation where you have 20 people all attacking you. Even if you have a large group on the other side, getting 3-4 guys out of your face helps.
As for Stability, I never really cared much for that in WvW. It doesn’t protect against Immobilization, Chilled, or Crippled — three things that cause me much more trouble with staying alive if I get out of position or pulled. I’d personally rather have the condition removal on DS than Stability.
As for Plague form, it and RP are not mutually exclusive.

I was having a horrible time in wvw so after I equipped myself with full toughness/condition exotics from karma vendors and tried that out it wasn’t much difference. In fact it seemed I was taken down even easier. So I ran into some gold and got full on berserkers gear including trinkets. I also switched to axe/dagger and staff, I may switch the staff to dagger/dagger and axe/focus. I can’t tell you how much of a difference it is. I can now kill 90% of the time a 1v1 matchup and have even won 1v2 which for me is saying a lot since I never use to kill anyone. Give it a shot.
use full emerald gear or PTV gear. Your original build had no source of precision so a couple of your traits were useless and another two traits were gimmicky.
RP isn’t worth the trait slot. improve your survivability in WvW, you won’t need the RP.
PTV or T/P/Pr
axe/focus or dag/focus + staff. Deadly strength and target the weak are some of the best passive traits for the necro.
use the following runes:
2 mad king, 2 lyssa, 2 ice
you’ll get 2-3k dmg from fearing people, and the soul reaping traits are wonderfully hot-swappable.

Its not anything terribly complicated — Terror, Reapers Protection, Master of Terror, Staff traits, Corruption cooldown.
