Necro could be made good with one skill
I’d keybind that 5 key with an Alt+F4 macro, in the case i forget i’m wasting too much time with a broken class…
Sorry for the Offtopic, i have to get some entertainment with some of the Anet’s product (this forum) by the moment my 60 Euros Guild Wars 2 is still underdeveloped and bad working
And that skill would be eviscerate; i would say 100b but we can’t use a great sword.
Not trying to be a smart kitten here, but when I saw that the patch notes for the third month in a row were, lets be honest, not good for the necro, I got on my warrior. It was refreshing to see 2k normal hits with an axe after having such a hard time getting even 600 with my necro. Yes I realize it has everything to do with your build, but you can easily tell that the warrior is “somebody’s baby” at ANet and the necro gets the left overs.
I honestly love playing my necro, but with the limit to condition builds and the lack of damage while dps is king is just turning me away. I still hold out hope, but I fear I will be logging in to do the daily for a while.
Oh, one side effect to going back to my warrior for a while I can get into COF without having to wait for a party.
Still don’t have a reliable source of invulnerability/stability/quickness for stomps, necro is the only class without one.
That skill would be Zombify. Raise 1 dead enemy player and have a simple AI cause it to run toward the nearest other enemy and spam #1 skill using the caster’s Life Force until that player becomes dead again

That sounds awesome, but as terok said, I don’t see it happening. Doing that to some crit monster warrior would be hilarious.

While that sounds hilariously fun, we know it won’t happen. However I would like to see more corpse manipulation like GW1, maybe a new version of what the old GW1 putrid explosion was, where you detonated a corpse to damage everything around it, or use a corpse to make very detrimental wells (I know we already have no-corpse-required wells but this would be a special one that requires corpses and therefore could be pretty powerful) heck even something like those risen fisheads that keep pulling people into it constantly. Make a corpse do that, yank everyone around. It would be about time we could knock around people the way we get bounced around constantly.

I think a nice ability I would like to see implemented on necro whether it be in DS or not is an equivalent to the guardians ‘save yourselves’ shout. drawing all conditions to yourself from nearby party members. (obviously minus the boons, we all know necros dont do boons) but this would be an awesome team support skill. if u slotted plague signet (I think thats the name) you could give those conditions to someone else. jobs a good’un.
obviously id rather have spectral armor give us stability but EVERY necro wants that.
They got rid of corpse-based skills because they created a build-style where you were forced to change your build for every boss, and could never use them reliably in small-scale PvP. It is the reason why minions don’t require corpses anymore.
