Unlikely, 3% lf per mark isnt much (also with soulmarks) and a nerf to other lf generating sources wouldnt only effect marks (e.g. nerfs to chilling victory or bb).
Also i dont even think that this is so strong that it would deserve a nerf.

As much as I agree with you, we all know ANET will find a reason to nerf it xD
they’ll get “nerfed” by not being buffed whilst every other profession gets buffed.
There is a pretty good chance Epidemic will see a nerf: but mainly for WvW. It is by far the most hated skill in that game-mode atm and I can see it… just hope we get something else instead then.

Necros don’t get nerfed. They just get “minor bug fixes”.
So I think its epidemic thats gonna get “fixed” while power necro gets a small buff by reducing the GS aftercast by 0.03 seconds.
And Axe is getting a buff thats still too small to help that weapon in PVE

If condi necro gets buffed and power necro isn’t, anet should hire better devs just saying
“Nerco’s now lose 1% of their total health per second while in shroud… Also, any damage received while in shroud will now be transferred in double to members of the necromancer’s team.”
The last buff we get was the scepter AA buff. Everyone started to cry, to say that it was too much. Now the meta no more use it because corrupt boons is useless in a meta where everyone can kill you without a single buff. Also because unless you don’t corrupt stability there’s not too much needs of corrupt boons. The only one I want to fight corrupting might to obtain weakness is the warrior, that totally ignore my conditions.
The changes should be more in the direct damage, just because the Reaper had to be our chance to play as a AoE direct damage dealer but ended to be our condi spam elite.
I don’t think we’ll get too much from a new patch, we’re perfect to do what we’re designet for: Attrition. That make us chained to our defenseless hp pool to defend us, a mediocre dps and skills that grant us a debuffer and corrupter role into a PvE world where there’s no need of even more vulenrability, no need of weakness and poison. In PvE we’re basicly useless, unless for Epidemic (that do it’s best if used to spam conditions made from our allies because our condi dps is mediocre).
In sPvP we should be useful if we had some way to don’t be bursted down every moment.
In WvW we’re hated because we use epidemic to spam our allies conditions, obtaining dps where we lack of.
I bet we’ll not obtain too much, probably a little buff in something no one care about. But a lot of other classes will be buffed by a lot, granting us an indirect nerf. As always.

I think he means the traits and shroud. Since the best dps traits that power reapers use are the same ones condi reaper use (Chilling Nova, Decimate Defenses, Deathly Chill). But then condi gains a dps increase from shroud, whereas power does not.

All professions will be normalized to the same base health: 15,922 for level 80.
Epidemic now copies 5 conditions on the casting Necromancer to three enemies within a 360 radius.

Its indeed many poeple who think it works for more targets so its sort of an reflex response.
Consume conditions will now consume your enemies conditions in a radius of 600 aoe and remove up to 3 conditions for up to 5 targets. Each condition removed from the enemy will give you a 5 second buff of +100 healing stat up to a maximum of +1000 healing stat.

The GS and Axe buffs helped the weapons become obligatory in PvE and PvP, respectively. GS is the top power dps in raids, as low and non-viable as it is. Axe has become the main power weapon in PvP and is viable to the extent to which necro is viable (boundary conditions defined as having or not having a support player).
The two problems are:
1) No viable power build exists in PvE. That’s a major kitten-up, as damage is currently all that necro offers in PvE, and the only team support option we have – Vampric Presence – is not even close to making up for the huge damage loss with respect to other professions.
2) Dagger and focus being power weapons have no meaningful identity whatsoever. In no game mode, nor type of content, are these two viable. Bringing their usefulness up to provide either more reliable, meaningful sustain in PvP (dagger) or damage in PvE (focus), along with some good traits increasing necro’s support capabilities, would go a long way towards making the profession more viable.

We need soo many buffs to the class overall..but it’s fine cos Anet continue to nerf us so when they do buff us it’ll look like a buff.

Transfusion now transfers health from the Necromancer to up to 5 allies.
Soul Comprehension’s effectiveness has been increased from 20% to 25%.
Reaper’s Protection now additionally corrupts 1 boon.

- Movement speed decreased by 50%.
– Epidemic now affects allies.
– Cast time on gravedigger has been increased by 100%. Damage has been increased by 10% to compensate.
– Vitality no longer affects total life force.

Anet meeting pre-HoT:
- Ok guys so we need to make something about Necros, nobody wants a Necro in a dungeon or be even near them in any PvE content and they’re becoming the emo class.
- No worries, once we launch HoT Necros will be able to equip a GS and become Chuck Norris Necrocopter.
- Dude, a lot of people actually would like to see condi damage becoming a thing… But I also like Necrocopter idea!
- It is decided then, Necros will specialize as Necrocopters AND we will boost condi damage, also we will have a new stat that will make condi damage viable.
1 day later….
- Abort! Abort! Necrocopter is killing everyone in PvP and WvW everyone is complaining they’re 2 STRONK Chuck norris Necrocopter is an abomination, get rid of him! All other classes are now becoming the emos!

Necro will receive no significant changes. Its been 6 months since necro got balanced so it will be funny to see their 6 months of work.
There are dozens of required changes for core necro to improve it, but we all know what will happen.
they will buff 5 useless skills to be better. No changes to the misplaced traits or to the lack of life force generation on certain weapon sets. And no change to necro core shroud to make it competitive with repear shroud. And thats it. 6 months of work changing the cooldown of a few skills.
