I couldn’t find a thread consolidating necromancer suggestions, so I figured I’d create one.

What I would personally like to see is:

  • Life Blast/Plague Blast become a projectile finisher. 100% chance would be awesome, but I think we all could settle for 20%.
  • All marks become blast finishers. I mean seriously, there’s already “blast radius” in the tooltip. Currently we have non-exploding ’asplosions.
  • As another user mentioned, add blast finisher to Axe #3 (Unholy Feast). Enfeebling Blood would be a decent alternate as well.
  • Corruptions hit/work 100% of the time. Like I’ve posted before, there seems to be an innate 50% chance to fail for Corrupt Boon. I’ve seen others post similar effects with other corruption skills.
  • Better minion responsiveness. I get that they’re mindless undead aberrations, but they should at least be able to recognize “Master is attacking X— I better, too.” or “X is attacking master, I better save him!” Most of the time they’re just standing around like most of society idiots. Seriously, when it rains ingame I’m half-expecting them to start drowning.
  • New weapons: no greatsword, too many others have it. Torch accessibility and an OH option for axes would be neat, though.

Not just marks…would be nice to see finishers on other skills so we can bring some utility to group work. It’s a huge downside to playing a necro and it always feels like the class is stuck at the ‘beginning’ of the game…back when all of the classes didn’t have neat toys to play with, so having a blast finisher was more of a big deal.

Stop breaking the minion AI! It goes from working fine to sort of broken to working ‘ok’ to omg why are you just standing there??? Fix the things back to how they used to behave, they are supposed to be aggressive damage dealing/damage soaking monsters…not ADD kittens who’d rather admire at the tropical bird on the ground. I am starting to hate that elite bag of flesh.

Well of Blood…why is this a light field? It’s not like we have a ton of blast finishers to abuse it being a water field.

Some of our cooldowns on skills are too long, most of the wells fall under that category. Again, it’s like the class is stuck in the past.
