Necromancer Life Force
Uh .. I just tested this and it is actually the opposite.
Starting with 51% LF in DR
Walk into the port to Ebonhawke end up with 69%
Walk back through portal into DR and it is now at 58%
→ Ebonhawke 78%
→ DR 65%
→ Ebonhawke 88%
→ DR 74%

Ebonhawke is on a mid lvl map, HP differences affect life force. Try lvl80 zones only, it will drain quickly.
Better yet, stay right where you are and go to character select before loading back in. You will be missing ~17% life force when you load back in.
Of all the main problems necros have, this is not one of them.
It causes the necromancer not to be ready when they enter a zone.
What exactly do you need to be ready for? And do you really have problems generating life force in PvE?
Ill give you something better.
Imagine being the only class ingame which gets extra punished for respawn in PVP.
Think its about 23% lifeforce that always get reduced because of how coded armor loading is.
So wanna try comeback after you died and enemy has map control? Better pay 23silver just to walk out of spawn ????
0% life force at the start of a pvp match is brutal
Yes this life force drain is hard. And getting it back takes the necromancer from the action. Personally we should ask for a drain from the rest of the character classes too. Let’s see an Ele that has a recharge time before they can cast a spell or say a Guardian not able to employ their abilities until then run around and kill some mobs to recharge, wonder what a warrior would think of this. Would give a whole new meaning to tanking wouldn’kitten
