Guild Wars 2

I am trying to set up my necromancer for power/prec/crit. I do a decent amount of damage but it still feels like it falls short by a landslide to other professions. What do you all use for this setup or is it pointless to have this setup at the current state of the game?

i use this set up with my jewlery and healing and condition dmg on my armour, imo necros should be used with condition dmg and i feel like necros are more for debuffing and putting damage over time, i do really well in 1v1s

Grab Well of Suffering and Well of Corruption with that set up, and use Lich form.

I don’t know if you’re thinking of PVE or PVP but this set up gets a lot of use out of Death Shroud, too. You have the ability to dish a lot of damage in a short amount of time if done correctly.

If your using full berserker gear use Axe and Focus. Use focus 4 to stack vuln then use Axe 2 to burst and you’ll hit like 5-7k hits.

I have been running this one. I can use wells and axe 1 and focus 4 to get 25 vuln stacks in a few seconds followed by axe 2 to get closer to 8 to 10k depending on the mob. Then I switch to my other damage classes and get 11-13k in less time with half of the work.

Axe isnt best dmg weapon at all, but it has good use as secondary-support weapon to stack vuln and being away from enemy, but not far. For power build it is much more usefull to run with dagger as MH and focus/dagger as OH. Dagger will give much more dmg than axe, coz it’s #1 skill is much faster and a little stronger. U’ll have good dmg and heal skill #2 and immob skill #3, so u can keep distance to heal through #2 or just run away. Burst dmg – Lich form, just spam #1 and u get quite strong dmg. And I found quite usefull to trait DS, skills #1 and 4 make good dmg, and of course extra HP will save u many times.
