Necromancer slight changes, skills, reworks.
3, -Utility skill : Summon altar- A “minion” tipe of skill summoning an unmobile altar that can be “piloted” (like enginers mortal) and would give a tipical “nuker” skillset, that would be a good alternative ( and addittion) to staff skills, that divides the community. ( a lot of players dont like them in my opinion)
- Elite skill : Wraith form- A less caster is form that gives an alternative to Lich form to go melee with an “assasin” like skill set.
(personally i find the skills that make the Nekromancer the tipical “wraith” missing. That is included when you create the character.) Stealth and other ambrush like skills would be nice, and would seriously give a bit of flexibility to the class, and a bit more diversity to the Elite skills.
Thats all for now. I hope some players do come and read this, becouse i would love to se some feedback and more ideas or opinions on these ideas.
And exspecially detailt them to implementation. Or atleast to the point where Anet starts working on this and details the ideas. Or se how moch potential is still in the class and how exciting it could be. Giving us a class that all enjoy and still not ruin it.

Sorry, but I don’t think any of this is good and/or balanced. The DS mechanic is fine and it just needs tweaking. I don’t think more transformations are needed. Kris and dirk fall into the “dagger” category either way, the game needs to get actual new classes of weapon with updates. Incense holder is just silly to be used as a weapon, and sounds more like something a ritualist would use, not a necromancer.
I accept your opinion, but dont agree with it.
Even trough a LOT of players love playing the Necromancer class, they are not used to this “new” picture of Nekromancer.
But have no option to pich another “dark Wizard” or “caster” class. Since Elementalist is purely another style of character, so is mesmer.
I perfer a more classic side of a Necromancer. And i am left without options, to play a class i like, or used to like. You might say this is my personal problem, but i am sure there is NO WAY IN HELL, that i am alone with this.
I dont think the “moaning” on Necromancer forum is just for some random reson….or just becosue of balance.
Exspecially since players dont care for balance if they find a class fun becouse it fits there style.
Putting this aside, i understand that some players (like you ) dont want changes to the class. I accept this, but you have to think on others to, who do want changes. Dont be selfish.
For every player to be happy you have to make compromisses. I dont think these “pluss skill sets” would be insane unbalances. They are more like cosmetics.
Think of it : An altar with a nuker skill set is nothing more then a plus style of spells ( same way Ele can dmg with earth spells it can deal dmg with fire to, just differeant style,but in the end its almost the same)
-Besides, where is the unbalance if you switch a skill set….and not add to it.
