Necromancers have permanent stealth all the time
Oh really Perma Stealth with a Necro… Care to explain how so they can fix and so we can test and see because sorry I highly doubt it.

Maybe they just don’t agree with the massive amounts of pvp whine and cheese?
I for one kickkitten in pvp and have fun. Just because warrior and thief are stupidetly easy to play as a one trick pony doesn’t mean necro sucks.
For one, Jon can see us fine. He has stickied a thread acknowledging all the bugs.
Secondly, our damage and survivability are good, in PvP and PvE.
If necro isn’t what you expected it to be, reroll. It is a fun profession to play, it is just not as easy to be good at as Thief, Warrior etc.
As far as class balance in PvP goes, I can’t comment, as I have not levelled them all. But I know that I can hold my own in PvP and PvE without too much trouble, and have fun doing so (and I am no hardcore gamer).
Sorry if some of my comments seem harsh, but seriously, more than half f the necro forum just seems to be pointless and annoying QQ posts. The lack of more constructive feedback makes me sad.

There is already a stickied list of bugs, and they do read the forums even if they don’t respond to all of them. I personally think they haven’t done anything with the necro yet is because they are planning a BIG change for them with one patch

He did indeed say in the thread he sticked that it would be a week or more to get everything sorted. Fixes are coming.

The “necromancer bugs compilation” was the first bug thread to receive a Sticky and a comment from Anet dev JonPeter.
They will fix the bugs sooner or later, it is their job. But it is a massive bug list, and it will require more time, organization and caffeine to fix than the other “little” things. The coder will be have tons of fun tought.

Read what you wrote again because you answered your own statement. They fixed “minor” bugs and you say you suffer from “Major.”
Do you not see how its easy to fix the minor stuff asap as opposed to a more difficult problem?

Warriors are junk if you think otherwise you really need to learn this game. They are very easy to counter and destroy on almost every profession I have played on. Now a really good necro can be a nasty thing. Guess we all just play with a different caliber of players.

Don’t expect a massive reworking. Expect them to get a few traits working better, a few changes to damage coefficients & a few other small changes. Small changes make worlds of difference in GW2.
The axe weapon skills need an overhaul.

So your saying you can do half the damage, at least, of any other class? Nice try, in any given situation where both people know what they are doing, you won’t do even a third of damage of any other class. Support? Hmm… necros provide no buffs of any kind past 3 seconds of protection for every well… marvelous. Healing? Without full healing gear your blood well isn’t even better then a simple regen from staff. Again a guardian/engenier/ranger/warrior/elementalist blows you out of your shoes in buffs/healing/cc/debuffing. Thiefs don’t do much in terms of support but oh well.
And the list at times seems indefinite. Next time you make grand claims provide some proof.
Go on… spec for full power with DS and realize that warrior does more damage with auto attacks then you with 100% ds pool and full power/might spec.
Oh and we are the only class with no cobos…. we got 1 underwater finisher >_> extremely unreliable at that too. We got 1 mark which needs to be triggered and a base attack of staff with 20% chance…. Oh yes almost forgot we do have bone minions explosion and flesh wyrm…lol. GL getting finisher from those. Now ever checked how many finishers warriors have? No? Do it…
Also our fields are poison from staff/poison from one of the almost completely useless utility. 4 darkness from wells 1 light again from well. And spectral wall… the completely useless utility. And they really don’t provide us with anything in terms of buffs. Also you can’t trigger them w/o enemies unless you get minions… but then you sarifice all your utility slots for aoe blind on nothing?

Our lack of combos does suck however, in a PvE environment, Light and Dark combo fields are what most people like having. Ground targeted wells, our 4 combo always hits with them so we can provide, area retaliation, area blind, or are weakness depending on which field we utilize. No we may not have the most amazing party buffing capabilities, but we can convert conditions on our party into boons, at the same time as providing that dark combo field. We can pop plague form and spam 2, if 20 seconds of mobs being basically useless 25 if you use the well that blinds, you are in akitten party. Not to mention, if you spec down in full the +vit +heal tree, all of your wells heal you, while providing you a nice health buffer, add to that that most +heal gear also has either + toughness or +vit you can be the healer, and the tank, at the same time, all while keeping mobs up with the conditions we apply easier than other classes, blind, weakness, chill, vulnerability. The Necro stems not from dishing out massive amounts of damage, but massive amounts of hampering to the enemy, which is far from useless, just unpopular.
Personally I can’t wait to see what new traits they decide to add eventually such as “1s chill every time you blind”. In time I really hope to see every boring trait (5% more dmg) replaced with something like that.
As well as how Axe weapon skills get buffed.
Jon once posted that he considers necros to be one of the hardest classes to l2p and is waiting for the community to master death shroud before making balancing decisions. Also, there are other classes who have yet to receive any attention, whine less

You also seem to take Jon’s words as gospel.
Again, also, there’s loads of players who HAVE mastered the necro and these are the people who come here to complain about the profession.
We aren’t unplayable but we’re right down there in the end of the profession list as far as playability is concerned.

I’m pretty sure that if:
- Our general list of bugs was addressed
- Our Blood traited Life Siphons scaled to the same order of magnitude as other passive health-over-time mechanics (Healing Signet, Virtue of Justice, Adrenal Health, etc)
- Axe was made a little more viable (i.e. #1 chained to provided some extra buff/debuff/utility, #2 channel time was compressed to 2 seconds)

Dagger/dagger + Axe/focus is awesome for my power/crit build. And fills my life force to the boot.
