So I hope you guys have seen the legendaries and it appears that hardly any of the appearances work with the necro. All happy and flashy, the saff drops rainbows (more for mesmer or elementalist), the scepter has clouds around it (definitely for a ele), the only thing that the necro can use that is really viable and looks cool for the necro is the dagger. I just feel like they should have made more neutral class staffs or have a dual staff like the great sword. Just saying. Hopefully they will add more for the necros!

A necro with a rainbow staff is all kinds of fantastic.

I agree.
None of the Legendaries fit Necro.
Incinerator comes the closest but that feels way more Elementalist than Necro.

Thankfully I really like Ghastly Staff and Pact Staff. :P

I completely agree to both of those… i’m very disappointed with the necro, but i do like the lidless eye for the scepter and the final rest for the staff. Both of those are the necro’iest looking weapons IMO.

I like the staff of crossing with the dangling lantern and chain around the shaft which seems to totally suit necro, too bad it’s a temporary staff.

The legendary Axe looks quite nice. Too bad it isn’t viable in many builds. Minion master is the best I can think of.

Legendary staff on my necro, do really like the look and the irony of it.

Pity the staff model isn’t more over the top.

@ OP, I think most non-GS legendaries/weapons suck in this game.

You can craft a permanent version. Probably cost ~100g+ in mats.

yeah kisses i agree, it’s just that i feel like when the legendaries were designed that they were designed towards specific classes in mind (if they were or were not i do not know) however that is almost how it seems. I just wish there was One designed with the necro in mind. Something dark / undead or even something with some green animations coming off of it or something that the necro could use and it look like it actually belongs to a necro.

I think it is painfully obvious by now that nothing was designed with Necromancers in mind – not even the class itself.

A Necro with Bifrost just gets the corpses for his minions from that bridge.

Frostfang seems somewhat Necro-ish. At least if you go by Grenth.
The Ranger skill Winter’s Bite comes to mind too, though.
Too bad Necro’s Axe skills just kind of suck right now.

Anyway yeah I’d like to see a Legendary Staff based on Dhuum’s Scythe.

It would be nice if the legendary items changed their look according to the class of their wielder. Like a Mesmer would have a bit different look with his/her weapons than a Necro.

Kisses.1054 – right now the Crossing costs at least 395 gold to make, not counting getting arteficer to 400 and other such “small” stuff, but the price can be reduced by farming the everloving crap out of everything you can.
Frostfang is basdass if you like Grenth, but not if you like both him and Dhuum (you know since the swear is that we shall serve death for eternity for the powers we use so we do kinda still work for Dhuum too, but i think a-net secured that we dont need to do that anymore).

the only legendary that really says necromancer to me is the axe. not that AN really gives us a ton of chill mechanics. not to mention from what ive read, the axe somewhat under performs. i’m kinda waiting for the green scythe i saw in dhuum’s early art.

the Gnarled Walking Stick from the HoM is very necro-y

You’d have to get the axe I guess. It’s got ice and stuff, that’s Grenthy.

The underwater weapons actually fit quite well, especially the spear. I at least plan to get one of them.
