Necros are the least played at everything
It is not that bad and the survey size is tiny. Elementlist is the only real outlier but we do not know if there was a bias caused by some unknown factor such as the link to the original survey appearing on the Ele forum.
Anet has the ultimate stats. They know exactly how long everyone has played each profession after each game update, in which game mode, and how many of what type of points were earned. They even know your build and success with it.
Cast your vote by playing what you want, how you want to.
I’m not sure what’s wrong with your statistic counts, but what I see from your charts ONLY proves that Ele is the most played classes in all areas.
Other Areas, I see that engineer, mesmer, ranger, and even warrior have even lower representation than Necro.
Also the lowest and the close to lowest classes have a very minimal difference in percentage, that it hardly justify any difference in popularity.
