Necros got a huge buff
kitten, this was worse than I thought. I thought we would at least get some skill fixes or changes

ANet fixes a bunch of stuff and doesn’t put any of it in the patch notes.
Remember how suddenly Spectral Walk teleport actually worked, or how Parasitic Bond suddenly started healing on December?
But still, this patch was a bunch of nothing for us, just poke around to see if anything started working, or worse broke.
This patch was almost entirely focused on non class stuff and tooltip fixes. I’m sure the other classes are whining just as much.
They seem to have fixed Flesh Golem. Mostly. Mine isn’t running off to stupidly attack things anymore. Although, he still does ignore the things I actually AM attacking… but I’ll take what I can get.

Regarding the original post – while I wouldn’t call it a Necro-specific buff, not having scepter or dagger interrupt your dodge rolls is a big relief.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

U just ruined my guild based wvw build……Tragic…
We got a great buff: Signets are not active when you enter the map. In other words: If you expect increased runspeed or LF-generation, you might as well forget it. That surely must be a buff … or something. After using the signets they work properly … nice to have that rez-signet with it’s 144s cd … . Does anyone else have this new and exiting feature?
Oh .. and now we leave DS randomly (at least I do). I haven’t had that bug for a long time, but now it is back. Trying to fear someone with full LF just to realize I am out of DS and casting FoC … yay :’(
To me at least, this is more than annoying; it is borderline unplayable.
I witnessed when i get out of DS my utilities bar are blank for 1+ seconds…WTH?
Hey necros are great though for the new combo killer daily, too bad they removed it from the daily rotation LOL

Yeah I went and spent all my karma I never use on them today, bought enough sets to use on several characters if I so choose to, if not they either get salvaged for ectos or put into the mystic toilet then removed just to taunt that evil djiin in there. No exotics for yoooo, evil magpie!! mmmwwhahaha

This patch was a bunch of nothing for every class (except guardians who got an entire build dicked). This wasn’t a “kitten the Necros!” issue. It just wasn’t a balancing patch. No big deal.

Yeah your totally right I meant Precision, typed Power for whatever reason. I think most everyone misread it and got what I meant anyways lol.

You read the patch notes?
Engineers got what might be the start of a big revamp on their kits with weapon stats being applied to them.
Elementalists got a fix on one of their skills and Rangers got a 25% life increase on spirits.
Sounds like something to me.
Arguably, the biggest buff we got is that condition duraiton and damage are applied on effects provoked by siege or other bundles.
though the patch was disappointing in the whole “re-balancing necros” angle, It was a huge patch as a whole.
I’m happy they fixed the flesh golem aggro at least, but I’m extremely disappointed they didn’t fix the issue of minions not attacking (or the other many numerous bugs with minions.)
