Need advice for minionmancer build.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are bad builds… and you’ve picked one. Conditionmancer is pretty much the only competitive necro build atm.

Did you stop to think that not everyone wants to pvp? Good god.
The main reason i dont use minions is because of thier extremely poor AI. Also they die really fast and are kinda useless, even with traits. I am talking PVE strictly here.

Yes I only want to PvE.
Conditionmancer for pve is even worse then minions…. since on any event you’ll be lucky to get any loot or score silver. Welcome to 25 bleeds limit world.
Also as far as minions go…. there isnt really any choice in build.
20 spite/20 death/30 blood. If you are going for all minion skills and its not subject for any kind of debate.

i disagree im using 20 spite (spiteful removal, training of the master)/ 30 death (greater marks, staff mastery, flesh of the master) / 20 blood (bloodthirst, vampiric master) and doing just fine…
From my experienence (talking purely about PvE) it makes little to no difference if you pick up all minion traits or none at all.
In dungeons your minions will die in two hits with or without the 50% health trait.
(except maybe the fleshgolem, he can take 3-4 hits)
And most of the time they will be annihilated by area damage within seconds anyway.
So no matter the traits your minions are made of glass but they can deal decent damage if they don’t get attacked.
So my advice is : take the traits of a non minion build to benefit yourself and just pick all minion skills. I myself didn’t feel any difference at all between playing with and without miniontraits except that without minion traits I’m much less screwed if all minions die in a fire or something.
My current build is 30 soul reaping, 20 blood, 20 curses and it works fine in dungeons and events.
well even if u take other traits u NEED to have the 50% more life and the 30% more damage traits if u are going Minon master… there is no point in going minions otherwise imo plus one extra hit till it dies can make a huge difference…
also im assuming u are using staff as its (also imo) the only viable option for minion masters… keeping mark of blood on them constantly boost their suvivabilty by ALOT
Condition build + minion utilities is the way to go. I’m not sure if the minion traits really change their damage or survivability, however, the minion recharge skill would be worth taking if you’re intent on hurting yourself rolling with minions. The guy who brought up dungeons is correct, they’re mostly useless. I tried using some to hold one of the lovers attention in the catacombs but he killed them so fast it just wasn’t worth it.
