Guild Wars 2

So, currently I am going for an “ice wraith” look for my necro, maybe not traditional but I like it.

However, I am currently torn between two back pieces, and unfortunately this character is to low to try them on outside the preview window which to me feels limited in many cases.

So, what do you guys feel fits better with this outfit. The ghostly and icy skeletal look of the shatterer wings, or the almost wisp like icy wind effect from the wind catcher skin?

(providing screen shots of the outfit from different angles without either piece, and the outfit from different angles with each piece in preview window. Took a lot of the wings because I tried to catch them in various motions. )

I’d probably go with shatterer wings.

I wouldnt go with either. But if you are set on one or the other the wind catcher looks better with your armour. Shatterer wings will get very annoying quickly and they dont really look icey.

My vote goes for the wings. They blend nicely with your color schema, and you can always show or hide them as you wish.

Yeah the wings look the best to me. More ice wraith-y than a dream catcher?

I like the wind-catcher more, it may not thematically fit better but I think it looks better overall.

I actually prefer the wind catcher. To me, it looks like souls fluttering around you.

So just came into possession of a few free level 80 trans crystals (yay map completion key rewards) soooo think I may just try both when I get high enough on her to equip a back piece, thanks again for the opinions everyone.

I have a similar look, though a little more rugged. I personally found a fully upgraded fractal capacitor to match best, as it looks icy and its particle effect looks like snow. But I think of the two you mentioned, the shatterer wings go better with your color scheme
