What is the proper rotation, for the power reaper, using weapons such as the greatsword + dagger/warhorn? Also, am I supposed to use the greatsword or is the staff ok?

I will be mostly using this necro for wvw/fractals.

Personally, I do not have a fixed rotation.

Necromancer and Reaper are not mechanically complex but, because of the profession’s weaknesses, a number of the skills are meant to be used at the player’s discretion. For example, the highest dps for scepter and MH dagger is auto-attacking. The rest of the skills more for controls in response to your opponent.

Regarding weapon choice, I always take one medium or long range weapon for swap when taking either MH dagger or greatsword. There are few ways to close gaps on this profession.

I personally use GS and staff. If you are using dagger/warhorn, axe or staff on swap is fine. I personally don’t like axe, since it’s single target, and normally in wvw there is a zerg for swiftness, so i dont need warhorn.

Souls marks makes staff very useful for refilling shroud quickly.

If you want a good rotation. look up Brazils Power Reaper Valkyrie build. He gives a good rotation that uses wells. Can swap the wells for shouts if you prefer those.
