Guild Wars 2

OK so I prioritized my stats to go power>precision> critical. The only thing i need help with is my armour and weapons. I have the exotic armour you get in CoF so that’s not a big deal. My weapons are all max damage weapons so that’s all right. I just need help with the runes and whatnot. The armour I am using now came with the runes of Baelfire so I got some decent upgrade to power, I think like +165 power (can’t remember). My question is do I keep those runes on that armour? Do I get different runes or put jewels on like the exquisite ruby jewel? And same for my weapons, do I put superior sigils on it or jewels? I just want to dish out damage in PvE, Dungeons, fractals, and WvW. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’m using Knight’s Armor (Power-Precision-Toughness) , Cavaliar’s Trinkets(Power-Toughness-Crit Dmg) with ruby orbs(Power-Precision-Crit dmg).

With this gear setup , without traits you get like 2.6k armor which is a good number and with the cute hp pull Necros got , you get like 18.5k – 19k hp.

I’m running 0-30-10-0-30 traits.So with a basic math , i got 2.7k armor – 19k hp – %42 crit chance – %66 crit dmg – 2.9k attack power.No buff , food etc. included.

Ok so this sounds stupid asking but, what is Knights armour? Is that referring to a whole new set, or are they just runes? I’m wearing full Flame legion armour right now, with superior runes of the Baelfire.

“Knights” is a prefix, essentially. It will correspond with gear that has the same three stats.

Oh so apparently the guys that answered didn’t see I went Power>precision>critical. Oh well they were still good answers. I should have said I was going berserker gear.

Use ruby orbs in all of your armor and exquisite ruby jewels in your trinkets. Ignore the knight’s armor comments as those are not ideal for a true zerker build.

I’d advise anyone going for build that uses crit/crit damage to take a look at this table. It’s really helpful in determining how much precision and crit damage to gear for. As you’ll see, precision gives you more DPS over time than crit damage. But if you’re just going to pile on both I suppose it doesn’t really matter…

This exactly! With necros already high hp pool we have no use for stacking vita or toughness. As far as zerker build goes in utilities you have 2 wells that do very nice dmg and should be used by any zerker necro.

If u are using a power nec, just go full zerker with ruby orbs or scholar runes.

You have high health pool and death shroud, which is an immense dps, as well as survival tool. Dodge and shroud at key moments and you wont need toughness/vita

Ruby orbs and for sigils its really dependant on what you feel you need more of. I tend to use frailty on my dagger mainhand so i can stack vuln with that auto attack. I use force on my axe and accuracy on my offhands. Bloodlust is also a good option but you dont often get to fully stack it in dungeons so i found it was more beneficial to me to use force instead. I have my offhand on my second set with the energy sigil so i can get an extra dodge. But its really up to you.

In short the most common zerker sigils are: Force/Bloodlust/accuracy. But frailty is also pretty good on necro dagger. Zerker necros dont get alot of boons so they support the team by stacking vuln which is why i like frailty.
