Nerfing blood is power...
All the corruptions skills have a downside. Not having a downside is a bug that should be fixed.
Not having an issue with my deathshroud flash build, shrouded removal tends to that pathetic 2 stacks of bleed while giving me 10 might, fury and stability.

why 10 might?
Its supposed to have drawbacks. Now with the right runes you can get massive uptime on it too.
Meh; just transfer/consume the bleed stacks.

Exactly. I always thought the down side was a plues. Pop em and transfer… added conditions to dagger and staff 4.
Yeah, you want those bleed stacks. They make your heal more effective, or you can send them to you opponent for more damage.
If the ability was never supposed to grant the might stacks without the bleeding, hence the bug fix.
I know what you guys mean, and you’re right, but BiP was my special way to buff up before a boss / mob pack , it felt like my version of For Great Justice
- I can’t transfer them, I’m zerker with D/Wh + Axe/Focus..
I can use my CC but that’s a negative side that I’m out of healing skill at the start of a fight
Its not like it deals that much damage if you’re a full power build.
10 Stacks of might actually gave me a decent damage boost :o
The might does, but you don’t deal much self-damage with bleeds, is my point. Its not all that big of a deal in PvE if you have some bleeding on you.

The worst that is likely to happen in a power build is you have plenty of +duration somehow and the bleeds last long to still be on you about the time you’d normally need to use Consume Conditions anyways.
Oh darn?
Well, having the bleeds still on you and thus keeping you in combat could be annoying in a few niche cases, but if you are on a Necromancer, you should already be resigned to rarely ever being able to retreat once you engage.
I know I will not sweat the change. Running Consume Conditions BiP will actually help add more recovered health than the bleeds take away. Unfortunately, my might duration gear is badly nerfed by the rune update. Bye, bye sweet +60%. That build needs major rework.
The self bleeds are not an issue. I went thru my entire lupi solo with self bleeds.

Yeah, keeping me in combat is the most annoying part about it (when it happens).
Are Necros are the only profession who damage themselves with their own attack?
Yes, because that was part of our original design that got lost in translation from GW1 to GW2. It used to be far more pronounced of self-harm for way stronger of effects.
