Has anyone else noticed enemy corpses seem to linger longer lately? New tech for the new necro elite maybe? The zombiemancer.

No seriously. Maybe it’s s server thing, but you finish an event in Dragon Stand for example and you can see corpses persist for a minute or so.

It’s just to give us time to raise minions from corpse.

Necromancer:

Minion skills now require corpses. Flesh Golem requires multiple corpses to cast.
Fixed a bug that allowed professions other than necromancer to talk to ghost NPCs.

NB.: Justine is right and I shouldn’t do what I’m doing here but this is so sweet!

No core profession should be balanced around an optional elite specialization.

Well, I had noticed this before April fools and saw that and basically thought theory confirmed! But yea, I think there is something going on.

Not exactly. Corpses usually persist until players have taken all of their loot from a kill.

I don’t know every reason for them to linger, but unclaimed loot is one.
