just curious but…are class balance patches going to be monthy or longer now?

so far they have come 1/month and fall somewhere around the 15th. There’s still plenty of work needed so I would imagine that Dec will probably see another sizable fix/balance patch.

This lack of communication is making me feel a little antsy.

First a long stretch with no communication at all, then about a week of red comments and now nothing again. I’d love have updates about what they’re working on

You are right indeed, it’s better if Anet communicate with us and try to solve the biggest issues 1st before solving the mini ones. The biggest issue we ( necromancers ) have is minions AL , Anet will be awesome if they fix it. XD

Looks like Anet moved away from weekly patches ever since Halloween. Looks like it’s monthly here on out.

Balancing too often can be just as bad, or worse, than never balancing at all. At least if there’s no balancing patches the community can develop strategies to compensate for things that are out of whack. If the rules change every week then it’s almost impossible to come up with viable counters to common builds, because the common builds change every week.

I think we have a bigger issue, assuming most to all necro uses the staff and not everyone would be a MM.

Biggest issue will be the staff #1 skill speed at which it will hit the target as well as its cast time. The staff damage is pathetic (marks included). Fix that and ill return back to the game. Last patch pretty much did it for me.

Well, last time we got a flurry of red posts it was a day or two after they got the cake that guy bought them.

I’m not sure what the minimum spend is here though, I guess we could kickstart a 1k muffin delivery to get a bit of communication started. A few bucks each and we’d get a bit of activity for sure.

Especially if it goes viral.

They’ve advertised the Wintersday event stuff start from Dec 14th, so I wouldn’t expect any updates until then.
