New necromancer looking for guidance
Hi Alabastos!
You can find different tutorials for basic necro stuff here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Necromancer-tutorials/first#post318452
and you can also find different builds being discussed here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Post-Your-Build-Thread/first#post254621
Do not be afraid to pick a build based on what you ‘think’ you would like to do endgame and start building to that. Personally I did not find that my ‘build’ while leveling was really hurting/helping my leveling speed. Your best bet is to just mix and match stuff as you level for what is easiest and works well for YOU. You can always respec at 80 when you are done =)
Anyhow check out those posts as they have a wealth of knowledge available.
Happy Tuesday and good luck!

Quality of life seems to improve with age. First ten levels were taxing, my 20s got a it better, and then with elite skills at 30 you start coming into your own. Flesh Golem and Lich Form are both amazing depending on what you are doing (traveling with a solid tanking pet or needing massive nukes to burn something fast)
well consume conditions is healing skill i would recommend get asap as without traiting (and even with them often) blood fiend is too fragile to live long enough to be able heal you.
but for other, it depends what kind of game style you wish? try weapons out at least to unlock their all skills. wellmancer, condition master and minion master are the basic archtypes currently. all have their strenghts and weaknesses. but all will you get to 80 and you can easily always switch between builds. it is not that expensive.
Hey thanks a ton guys I really appreciate it.
Seriously, try another class for a few months until MAYBE Necro is fixed…
Don’t listen to the qq. If you want to try out the necro go for it. played mine last night and had a blast. It is a game not life.
Dagger/dagger power wells build. love it
