Realistically, how can a skill named “Nightfall” have any combo field type but Dark?
Realistically, how can a skill named “Nightfall” have any combo field type but Dark?
Not that I disagree but that logic doesn’t apply to to other skills such as well of blood which realistically should be a waterfield rather than a lightfield. Could we please maybe fix that?

its more of a QOL for pvp GS#4/R#2 = stealth. Allow necro’s a proper disengage.
Instead of making it smoke, make dark fields not total garbage instead.

No. I like dark field, I think dark field should be changed a bit, I think a leap that blinds and blast that blinds on it is kinda boring, but that’s a problem a problem with the type as a whole not a problem with Nightfall being a dark field.
My solution would be to make comboing through the dark field through a leap should execute a life stealing blast. That works in shroud.
Or give a Dark Aura on Leap: new effect that siphons life from attackers. Probably about 2/3 of Retaliation damage, but you gain the amount as health, too.

I’m not talking about traits but about blind in PvP.
Nightfall already blinds and if we can also blind with the “new” field combo you should expect to never take a hit while channeling soul spiral or while chaincasting gravedigger on the downed. And to me it’s a bit OP.
Deathly Chill proc only 1 bleed in PvP, so the blind>chill>bleed isn’t a problem.
