Hey Guys,

as most of you know there wasn’t changed ANYTHING about the Necro in the last Update (14.9 see the wiki).

Do you think its possible that there is a bigger change coming in the next update ?
At least i also would like to see a red post about the Necro: What does ArenaNet think
about it atm and what are the future plans….

I know there are lots of: “We need a red Post” threads but i wanted to mention it anyway.

I really hope so, its been kind of weird how every patch has touched all the other classes but necro. I really want to be a minion master but since the changes from the BWEs the minion master just isnt viable anymore.

It is impossible for them to no be aware, I think.

I would imagine it takes some time for them to determine the best course of action – test things etc, as the work needed on Necromancer is much more then just tuning numbers and percentages.

Anet has kept patching all classes in GW1 for years – I’m pretty certain we can expect some fixes for the Necromancer in GW2, too.

That said, I was also somewhat sad there was nothing in for us in the latest patch :/

Well, good thing I don’t care much for effectivity so long as I have fun in PvE.

They can’t leave the Necromancer as it is. Having a such a glaringly weak class remain so is like letting a wound fester. It will only get worse. It doesn’t just effect the quality of play for Necromancers, it also effects the people who play with Necromancers in a group.

As Necromancers get turned out of groups for PvP and PvE and they in turn re-roll, less people will consider playing the class and many (sadly) will quit the game. As this is a competition driven MMO this WILL happen (and already is).

So I think Anet must have a lot of changes on the way… if not… :’(
