Q:
What is the best Armor Set and corresponding Stat Combinations for Necromancers?
Hi All. I made this topic to know what my fellow necromancer out here should be the focus on stats and the likewise, the corresponding armor sets that best accompany these.
I know that it is “build-specific” so to be exact, I generally roll either a wells/condition necromancer or a minion master (I do believe that some time future, hopefully within my lifetime, that the minion AI will be fixed). That being said, what do you think is best?
I note that these stats come in threes with the following combinations:
Option 1: Condition Damage, Precision, & Toughness
Option 2: Healing Power, Precision, & Vitality
Option 3: Power, Toughness, & Vitality
Option 4: Condition Damage, Precision, & Vitality
If I’m missing an option, please do tell me so that I can include it. But anyway, of these, I am slightly inclined to Option 1. Albeit, Option 3 sounds interesting as well as it practically makes you a very solid survivor. What are your thoughts?

I went with Condition, Precision, and toughness with my necro build. Mostly because you can farm it with karma lol. But you can combo those pieces with the necro rune set( turn toughness into condition) and sigil of earth (crits have 66% chance to bleed). Also minor trait has chance when you crit to bleed things.
Well that’s for the armor anyways. For jewelry and staff i went with condition, precision and vit to balance toughness and vit.
I run full Cleric gear (Major: Healing Power, Minor: Power and Toughness). Too bad all the dungeon gear as well as the Orr gear has a different stat setup than crafts and random drops. Oh well, I can still get kitten for the skin if I want it.
I generally agree with Condition Damage and Toughness but why Precision? Precision affects Critical Hits which I cannot seem to understand why that stat would be important for necromancers considering we typically either go down the route of minions or conditions/wells. Can you further clarify?
Necros have several traits that give bonuses on crit, like applying bleeding or generation of life force
