Hello Guys,

In the recently path (July, 9th) Anet “fix” the Superior Sigil of Pralization, wich afected the fear increasing the duration by 15%.

Before the patch, in sPVP and tPVP, with the Build 30/30/10/0/0, Runer of Necromancer and the Sigil, the duration of Fear was 65%, but now with the same build only is 50%.

Its mean that in this moment that build doesnt the damage like before the patch cause the fear dont get an extra tick from Spectral Wall, Reaper Mark (Staff#5) and Doom (DS#3, more than 600 units), making this build not OP.

So I dont think that a nerf of terror is necesary, cause the most of QQ coming from PVP, and in PVE and WvW this build doesnt shine like in the past in PVP.

Another reason to Not nerf Fear damage.

PD: In PVP i run with a 0/30/20/0/20 With terror, not burning
PD2: Sorry about my english is not very good

EDIT: I am doing some test with my build that i have 50% +20% = 70% fear duration and i dont get the second tick with Staff#5, can someone pliss test that? Thanks!

You can still get a second tick, they literally just nerfed it by 15% duration, and made it slightly less likely that you will get the next tick.

Everyone switches to 30-20-0-0-20 and learns to use smaller marks, hell we even get lower spectral or DS cds in place of greater marks and scepter duration so the trade-off isn’t even that painful.

But I run powermancer so what do I know?

Attrition – A pretty name for taking longer than anyone else to kill something.

Well… what broke the balance ain’t Terror but Dhuumfire. Why don’t they just change this trait in something like “Do damage each time you chill a foe” It could open a chill build for powermancer which are the one in need for more chill on foes.

No core profession should be balanced around an optional elite specialization.
