This was something that was implemented in GW1 after a while. Basically, allow the option for at least the owner of summoned creatures to see their HP bars just like we see other party members. For example, when I summon Flesh Golem, his HP bar will appear in a secondary spot just under the current Party tab-thing, and will track boons/condis just like it would for a normal party member, until he dies.

However, I do think it should be optional; not all of us need/want to see when Jagged Horror is about to die, but for those of us using Minions it could be very helpful.

It’s coming in 2016. It’s a great idea bhawb and should of been in since release.

How would you fit it in if you’re already in a 5-man group? I’m not an expert, but it seems like 5 additional health bars and boon/condition/effect rows could become a pretty unreadable mass unless you space it out. And if you space it out, I’m just not sure there’s room on the screen.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Put them directly below the ones you already have for your team, or allow it to be a moveable window. GW1 had a lot larger box and it was never obtrusive (and again, it should be hide-able).

Look at GW1 party UI if you can spare a moment to google. Easily shows up to 8 people, pets, and even necro minions. Of course, the more you have, the less of the game you can see :3

This is a superb idea.

A good implementation would be you use a hotkey+click directly on the minion skill on your hotkeys bar to enable/disable that minion showing as another party member, similar to autoattack enabling.

No. This would make necros OP. Minions are meant to die so you don’t need hp bars. It sounds to complicated, let’s keep it simple. What necro needs is any unrelated stuff. GW1 is another game go back if you don’t like GW2.

Good idea. This worked fine in GW1 once it was implemented. A necro could toggle the minion “party” interface on and off as they desired. I see no reason why the same couldn’t be implemented here.

In addition to the expanded minion list, we could go one step further and display a minion’s remaining health as a tiny bar below their icons on the skill bar. This is a quick reference for how much health a minion has left remaining. If you want to see an expanded list displaying all of your minions along with their health and conditions (if any), you then toggle on the new interface suggested by the OP.

Where this might run into a problem is with Bone Minions as two are summoned by a single skill. A possible solution is the health of Bone Minion #1 is shown as a tiny bar above the icon and the health of Bone Minion #2 is shown as a tiny bar below the icon.
