Power / Precision / Condition damage seems like a fair choice in stats, since barbed precision is apparently a Big Deal for condition builds. Keep in mind that Order Armors are rares, so you could get the same stat spread just from the trading post.

Actually the Whispers armor has the Rabid stat set (Prec/Tough/COND DMG), and is the gold standard for armor for condition builds. So yes, it would be good at 80. However, it’s only rare armor, meaning the stats on it aren’t as good as they could be. There are exotic sets with those same stats available, and to get them you have a few options:
-farm CM and buy the Rabid Noble’s armor
-farm TA and buy the Rabid Nightmare armor
-farm gold and buy Khilbron’s set off the TP (unfortunately it’s the most expensive named set on the TP)

Yeah, rare armor isn’t worth it in the long run except for MF armor (since the exotic MF armor gives no worthwhile stat bonuses for the cost). Just go straight for your exotics, although you can transmute the looks if you want. However, rabid stats do very well for crit based condition builds.
You can also get (all but the boots) full prec/toughness/condition exotics from karma venders in orr – 210,000 for all but the boots (which aren’t sold prec/tough/cond)

YES! All my overt posturing on how great barbed precision has finally taken root in the minds of the forum folks. It is only a matter of time before it is deemed overpowered!

But for real, most people still agree its weak as a trait, and compared to the warrior equivalent, it is. I still love it though.
I think orders armor looks great in general, but yeah, being rare makes this a waste of time when you can get the same armor from the post way cheaper. And if you like the look chances are you will just transmute it to exotic gear.
