Combined with Warrior’s new Brawler’s Recovery…. I’ll take “What are conditions again?” for 500.
Yea, I was thinking about impementing Brawler’s Recovery in my new build, since the buff is quite nice… With this sigil and the still not reworked Condition Immunity on Berserker Stance, it might be quite hard to chip someone down…
I would have to see how it plays out though, maybe I am worrying too much… I just dislike the general thought of having a lot of Power Buils buffed, giving them more and more self-sustain, while leaving the Necromancer at his current state – albeit not a bad state, maybe getting left behind in the short run…
I personally start to wonder why they do not differentiate harmfull conditions from soft CC’s (cripple, immobilize and chill), since the latter are oftentimes used on power builds as well to get an upper hand in the fight on some classes and builds, like D/D+Staff Power Build for Necroes…

Hmm:/ the only way I can think of to counter this is maybe fear? Because they can’t swap weapons during fear..right?

Weapon swap can be used during fear/stun/daze, etc.

If you make a thief swap their weapon set because of a fear, that’s far more valuable than what the fear would have given you, unless it is some s/d set that switches to the same weapon for initiative.
If they have this sigil then they lose a dps focused sigil, and being on the wrong weapon set is a bad thing during a fight where that one condition matters.
I wouldn’t worry too much about it n

That made me feel a bit better actually because reading on people commenting about the warriors made me feel like condi build is abit useless now :s and since it’s my main build to play against other players

Why does ferocity stacking matter? Cripple is unfortunate against some set ups but generally we’re strong to conditions as it is (I bet the cooldown is big or duration is low) and the weapon swap sigil probably isn’t as effective at keeping conditions clear as it seems. There is already a sigil to remove conditions when hitting an enemy. I think if anything this sigil will be good for some engineer specs, which is help they need.
Well it’s another new way of removing conditions regardless of what your class has available. Hopeful the cool down is long on cripple because that hurts us. And the stacking of ferocity obviously means bigger hits on a lot of classes that have a large crit rate already, they can choose now to further get a higher crit chance with more health and stack ferocity which hurts us also.

Hm, though sigil of Generosity and Purity are chances of which one a chance on crit – this one however is tied to weapon swapping…
I am not “too worried” myself, but I can see Eles, Warriors and Engineers getting some profit from it…
I need to see it first though, and will likely implement it in my own Warrior and Engineer build to see how well it works….

Thanks for the source. I’m with you. I’ll wait and see before I pass judgement. Sigils are not something you change often and this one has narrow use. We’ll see… I think this can be an interesting patch.

For ele, I think they need it.
Sounds like a pure PvP sigil, nobody would use it in PvE and in WvW theirs enough condi clean already so its not needed.
This won’t effect necros condition builds nearly as much as other classes. We have substantial cover conditions. Many other classes don’t.
extra dodges, real stability, mobility skills,
burst skills, sustain, or good support. GG ANET.
I’m going to laugh my balls of when this stupid sigil prioritizes fear yay for stunbreak weapon swaps and our only awesome build nerfed into the ground!

Yeah if it prioritises fear it’ll be a free stunbreak. Still, let’s see how it goes, my guess is only 1 condition and 10" cooldown so it won’t be that powerful. And my guess is warriors, mesmers and possibly thieves are the only ones who will bother to use it, most other professions need their sigil slots for other things.
Don’t warriors get to weapon-swap every 4.5 secs or something (traited)? If the new sigil has no icd apart from weapon-swap that will be OP indeed for warriors.
This ball buster of a patch is one of the big reasons why I’m glad that the new SSB/pokemon games are coming out soon. I’m really thinking about quitting until my favorite class isn’t such a joke, or until there’s meaningul new content to play instead of this LS crap and UI updates.
