Parasitic Contagion
This would be beneficial for build variety. It would not create a mechanic without counter-ability and balance. The availability of ample condition clearing and the case of its physical attack counterpart, the Vampiric traits, demonstrate this. Please consider bringing this trait in line with the many others that properly transfer.

Unholy Sanctuary is more reliable. They can both coexist quite easily.
Parasitic Contagion is one of few traits that let you “win more”. I’ve been requesting PC healing through Shroud since they announced Specialization patch changes.
Curses have to compete with Spite.

I’m all for this tbh. Although I think maybe it should just grant some life force in shroud, cause it might be op if it just gave you straight up health. Most condi necros are already pretty tanky unless they’re running viper’s.

It’s healing in 1v1 is usually not much better than Regeneration, against Thieves much worse.

I was just logging in to the forums after months to post this suggestion. Needs to be done, trait is way underused anyways…
With healing through shroud, or at the very least partial healing, I would like to see a miniature epidemic (3 targets instead of 5) tied to it that can be activated beyond a passive on crit/entering shroud effect (though if it got either of those I wouldn’t complain). That or combine it with another wanting trait, like Unholy Martyr.
This thread needs to be back up just in case devs read the forum. Maybe post on reddit?
It makes no sense havinga GM trait that doesnt work with your profession mechanic and ultimately useless half the time.
Trait is ok now. It’s zerg trait anyways. Works fine if you have big kittens and if you land perfect epidemics.

Also, add regeneration, Blood Bond, Spiteful Renewal… and we’d be almost halfway there to getting a properly working class mechanic.

The real question is: if it worked, would you take it over Weakening Shroud, especially now that it was buffed to corrupt boons?

My personal idea:
Whenever a foe you poisoned is healed, you heal for half that amount.
Essentially, poison you apply steals a portion of their healing instead of reducing it.

Probably not.

Another bad trait we have, like the 2 others grand master trait in reaper line forcing us to play with deathly chill and so to play condi or hybrid.

Foes affected by your Epidemic lose 20% of their boon duration for 5 seconds. Conditions spread by your Epidemic last 20% longer.

Lol wouldnt that be great, free epidemic, free slot. But this will make epidemic pointless as utility. Sometimes I cast epidemic and the target is already cleared the conditions, but the automatic cast is way more reliable. cool I like it
