So i made a really funny LoL condi build that actually seems pretty viable for WvW roaming.
I call it the Confusing Terror Tank Build

Basically its Settlers Heavy with Some Dire/Rabid. I put the minimum amount of Healing power from Settlers (600+) in order for the Death Magic XIII (unholy Sanct) to tick for at least 200 a sec. Also, i dont know if it’s a glitch or not. But Unholy Sanct will heal for an extra bit of health that seems equivalent to the total amount of health healed while in Death Shroud, when you exit Death Shroud.

The focus on the fight is attrition mainly as your dmg is mostly from fears, bleeds, and confusion stacks. The build is heavily focused on the staff due to its Ranged Life Force Regenerating capabilities. To stay alive you basically squeeze in as many Death Shrouds in between your heals & your plague. All while getting those fears in to interrupt your foe and get that confusion stack up.

As for the Last Utility in the build, you the player is open to chose whatever utility you wish to use. I often switch out between Well of Power, Spectral Armor, Blood is Power, Corrupt Boon, or Signet of Undeath/Spite.

As for the Traits.
In Soul Reaping You can switch out Soul Marks (X) for Path of Midnight (III) if you plan on running with the zerg. Since your Life Force will regen instantly from all those zerg kills, you can Substitute (X) for a lower CD on your DS skills with (III)

Anyway enjoy your LoL moments as you fear somone & then watch them kill themselves with confusion while you regen hp in DS. It’s a ridiculous combo for a mediocre Condi Dmg. Like i said the fight is all about attrition, but you’ll be surprised by how quickly you can burn someone down after you apply confusion on someone.

Perplex runes on a necro are very LOL worthy that is for sure. But what makes this build better than 6/6/x/x/x with dire/rabid. Seems like you’re trying to make a subpar trait – Unholy Sanctuary and gear – Settlers work on Necro. Don’t get me wrong, I wish healing power was truly worth it on Necro (I use settlers on my ranger with perma regen and Troll) but I just don’t see this being more effective than pure offense. Especially in WvW where being jumped by 2-3 players means death regardless of toughness since we can not escape anything. +1 for creativity though!

Its a visual bug since the HP globe cannot/may not move while in DS., but the hp is actually increased.

When life gives you lemon, ask if its from a anime or manga.
