Plague Signet Bugged?
From the perspective of Pvp…
On one hand, before the patch, it was like literally a “must-have”, because it breaks stun and removes condition, so it saves you from nasty spikes. But it was also amazing in that it could also punish condition builds by transferring your conditions to them.
On the other hand, Necros really should be given a skill that can get them out of nasty spikes (e.g., invul or remove conditions + stun break), since every class has at least one skill that does that unconditionally.
Back to the topic, I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not, since it’s not listed in the patch notes.
Our spike avoidance skill is Death Shroud, or at least that is Anet’s thinking.
kitten… are you kidding me? I really hope this is a bug because this would really break me if it wasn’t (not that plague signet was really working completely in the first place). Seriously… if I have to turn around to cast this on the enemy that is chasing me (and freezes, limps, binds, or stuns me… which is nearly EVERY enemy), then I am screwed. Especially as a Necro, where we are squishy as hell to begin with. Are they really meaning to take away the only escape mechanism we have????
Yes I agree it was pretty much the strongest must-have trait we had. If this is not a big I really don’t like this change. I could completely understand that Necro’s didnt stack conditions as fast as other classes because we had skills like plague signet. But if they are going to remove our ability to transfer or remove conditions then they need to allow us to stack conditions faster.
Someone who played a lot of GW1 warned me that ANet does this type of stuff. I was reluctant to beleive him, and thought that, if we gave ANet time, they would fix the bugs that are really hurting us. But I was wrong. Sure, they might fix the bugs eventually, but they will continue to nerf them as they do it. Making Necros even more unplayable.
Well since its still bugged as kitten and just copies instead of transfering conditions onto you, i really dont care about it.
Edit: Found out, it works this patch, but since it now requires a target to remove conditions from you, gonna stick to spectral walk.

Before the last patch the skill was still one of, if not our best skill. Now it’s so unreliable, just pisses me off that necro’s get all these game breaking bugs.
