The passive effect of Plague Signet is giving me my allies’ conditions without removing conditions from them. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is it possible that it’s a result of condition spam? In my experience it’s really difficult to tell when a condition is from a Plague Signet transfer or from any other source, except when I’m not in combat. I’ll pay attention to this though.

I tested with minions in the heart of the mists multiple times. Sometimes it fails to work at all.

If you were check gw2 wiki, you would find this:

So that’s whats wrong with it. Tested it in a dungeon yesterday and it did not have any effect on my team. I thought the effect would only occur every 3-4 seconds but it seems, that was when the conditions ran out or my mates cleansed them.

What do we bring to the table for dungeons then?

  • Damage is worse than other classes damage.
  • Removing conditions of my team with plague signet does not work. I still have Well of Power, but the guardian has a better skill for that.
  • Superior tankiness through Death Shroud. I can’t see the benefit from that in the dungeons i’ve played so far.
  • Minions that bug and pull random mobs.

Any ideas how to spec for dungeons?

I go with condition/supportive build with staff/S+D and switch my skills accordingly to the oncoming challenge. We are quite good kiters and pullers, and we are very usefull especially in fights where you have to place the boss in specific place like keeping Vassar away from Ralena in AC or pulling Brangoire to the middle of the room in TA. You can do all of this with Spectral Grasp. Other than that i often rotate between Signet of Spite+Epidemic+Well Of Suffering; For boss fights I switch to Well Of Darkness + WoS+Well Of Power, or for example Spectral Grasp as mentioned above. Signet of Undeath can also be a tide breaker on particulary difficult fights.
I usually take consume conditions for healing purposes and ALWAYS Plague elite, as the AOE condition (blind!) spam is extremely usefull when facing multiple mobs.
I am also a designated resurrector with trait spawning well of blood on successfull ressurection.
