I was running in around a seven man group in WVW with my guild last night, and was just having a blast playing Terrormancer. Was a joy to play both roaming taking camps, and sieging keeps and towers. Plus I joyfully got the opportunity to rip people from the walls of keeps to my eager guildies. I didn’t feel over powered, and I certainly died, but I felt like I was doing something important for the group at the same time.

I’m glad, Necros were viewed as somewhat underpowered before, to the extent that even Necro players weren’t sure if they were making a difference.

It’s nice to see that Terrormancers add that bit of, ’I’m actually doing something noteworthy for my team – as a Necro.’

They finally gave necros a powerful tool (fear wall) to put them on par with mesmers and guardians for WvW utility.

The thing I really liked was at any given time I wasn’t like a god, or unstoppable, but a valued part of something.
