Possible changes to stun breakers incoming
That would be a welcome change. Gone will be the days of playing the ball in a game of “kick the Necro everywhere”.
I propose Well of Darkness being a stun breaker, instant-cast as well. Would give it a nice buff.
Anyone would like Immobilize to count as a stun too, so that we can get out of them with a stunbreaker? Plague Signet is a wonderful stun breaker, because it does remove Immobilize too, but I think we’re one of the only class that has a stunbreaker that act like this.
IMO Stun breaker should give you full control over your character, not just get you up on your feet.

Plague signet doesn’t “brake” the immobilize. It just sends it out to your target. Also, we have nice Flesh Wurm stunbreaker. My favourite one, not only it has huge range, does damage, but also it’s a combo and gives you Life Force on reasonable cd. I can’t count how many times teleporting saved my kitten in tPvP.

Flesh Wurm should definitely be a stun breaker against immobilize. It seems silly that you can’t teleport when immobilized, since teleporting doesn’t really involve walking. I really hope they make all immobilize skills, even monster skills, vulnerable to stun breakers.
Maybe make Death Shroud an immobilize breaker too, while they’re at it.

My prediction is that nothing will honestly change with this class regarding stun breakers. ANet seems overly afraid of doing any major changes to this class for fear of a certain sPvP build that existed in beta.

Either way I’d definitely like to see it stunbreak in addition to the life steal.
That would make activating the signet an actual thing to consider.
Please o Please lower Spectral Armor CD. No reason for it to be 90 seconds untraited.
Necromancer stun breaks are already spread between minions, signets and spectral. Only wells and corruptions are missing it and I can’t think of any stun breaks with remotely well-like effects in the game. Corruptions are all too powerful if made instant cast anyway.
About all I’d even hope for here is shorter cooldowns as they’re pretty ridiculous. Obviously intentional as death shroud/fear can hold off a lot by itself.
Still, what if the stun break on spectral armour was moved elsewhere? They clearly regard it as very powerful if it tries to do everything at once.

As excited as I am for this change, i doubt we will be getting much, if anything at all. Being the kicking ball seems to be our role in the game

3% LF per hit = 1.8% eHP heal per hit, or at base hp 324 healing per hit and you will pretty easily have a near full HP bar at the end of it. Thieves can’t steal my LF generation, necros can’t corrupt or rip it, and warriors don’t get bonus damage off it, I’ll keep the current spectral armor over that, thanks.
Yeah I don’t think buffing spectral armor would be one of the thins on their list. what I would like to see, and what someone pointed out earlier, is our stun breaks are just spread all over the place, and most of them are in, or part of, skills that don’t synergize well with most builds. I think a more fluid assigning of skills is more important than just buff buff away on the current skill designs

Only real issue I have with Spectral Armor is that the cooldown is excessively long and Spectral Walk just works better as an equipped stun break (even though the return teleport doesn’t break stun, it can get you out of the chain CC), since it has the same life force generation when hit as Armor, lasts longer on said buff, and has a 33% lower cooldown.
IMO, given the Necro’s complete lack of mobility, it’s less of an issue of stunbreaks and more of stability. I’m of the opinion that Necro should have access to stability waay easier than that crappy 30pt trait.
