Power Staff -Let's Have Some FUN!
Have you taken into consideration that the (crit damage)/(other stat) ratio is different for different equipment? http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Item_nomenclature#Comparison_of_numeric_vs._percentage_attributes
I think you could gain a few percent crit damage with no trade off if you would switch the crests of the soldier for ruby jewels and then switch a few armor pieces for soldier stats. On top of that, jewels give more stat points than crests anyway.
Something like this:

(It’s basically a decrease of 10 points in toughness for an increase in everything else)
Slight variation on Arvid’s build…I don’t see why swiftness is any good when you are in combat…

I think you posted the exact same link
I agree that there are other things I’d personally change as well: runes, axe training→close to death, etc. But that would have somewhat complicated the more simple point I was trying to make.

Much appreciated!
Any input on the build?
I open in Staff and use my blast finisher to get Weakness up then drop another blood and switch to Axe…Focus 4+5 and then axe 2 for burst…hit axe 3 when in range and back to staff rinse and repeat.
With that much power and using Axe + Focus to regen life force, I would go Staff mark drops, DS Life blast while getting close, then continue with Axe+ Focus to regen that life force then swap back to Staff and repeat. Lifeblast with power build hits hard and is a great addition to your ranged attack.
Personal preference: I would replace Centaur with Lyssa x6, since you keep your elite for when you need it, you could cast golem, removes all conditions, gain a lot of boon and benefit from your 25% boon duration It also bring your crit chance to 44%. And that’s on a 60 sec cooldown.

And so I did!!
I will rework it and submit.

Great feedback, THANKS! Ill practice rotating DS in my DPS cycle.
I like Panhaur’s idea too…using the Lyssa x6…clever.

Curious to hear from other, do find a place for this build in how YOU like to play GW2?
Now, try this in PvP. I dare you.
Sadly, I have done this in PvP, and it was somewhat effective, BUT, it wasn’t effective when I had to put 10 points just for Greatermarks, when it could’ve turned my Putrid mark into a 4k critting AoE monstrosity.
